My 9yo and 6yo boys absolutely love these! They are easy to punch out and relatively easy to follow the numbered directions to put them together. (Try to have them punch the vertebrae out one at a time, because they're hard to tell apart!) My youngest needs a little help from me. The pieces can slide apart so you have to make sure to get them as snug as possible. It is frustrating if they push too hard and a piece breaks, but I will glue them because they aren't for playing with, just displaying. Out of 5 dinos so far, only 2 pieces have broken from being too rough. We are studying dinosaurs and it is the perfect hands-on craft to go with school! They look really neat!

I bought these sets as goodie bags for our kid birthday party. We had so much fun assembling one of the puzzles with our 5 years old! It’s not very hard but not super easy at the same time. It says 8+, but I think depending on a child it can be 5+ with the help of a parent. Highly recommend!

My son has been enjoying putting these together and displaying them on his desk.. The are of good quality and stand up well. He has even used the wood piece they pop out of as a way to trace and draw the sea animals. Good value for the money and fun.

These are terrific - now that we’ve figured out the best way to do them. The instructions are awful and the pieces are not numbered - but, if you get one piece at a time (do not let you child pop out all the pieces at once like I did!!) then it’s easy enough to do figure out which piece is which. My 7 year old son was able to do most of these on his own (he naturally gravitates to this kind of thing though, I surely couldn’t have done this at his age).

Kids loved this and put them together in no time flat. Even a year later they told me how much they enjoyed them.

Bought several times as kid gifts. Love to bring to family gatherings.

I remember building similar models as a kid so I bought them for my dinosaur/puzzle obsessed kiddo. We've built two together so far. One needed virtually every piece sanded to actually fit together, and the other fit nicely but a couple pieces broke during assembly (half my fault, admittedly, but I was trying to be careful!). Final product is cool but I wish the quality was a bit more consistent. One nitpicky thing is that I got this brand specifically because the company is located in the US, but the quality/grammar of the instruction makes me think the actual product is made elsewhere.

My grandfather used to buy these when I was young, and it was always a happy memory to build one with him. After moving a lot and time, they got lost or broken. I am happy to see that it was a multi pack. Great value for what you get. Can be tough to fit some pieces, but like they instruct, just sand the slots, use a gentle pressure and it will come together easily. All my dinos are now on shelves and stand perfectly on their own. Just finished the t-rex today. Would love to see a raptor kit as well.
