The roll is sturdy but can be cut easily with scissors. The thing about slugs and snails being repelled by the copper only seems to apply for the first couple of days, BUT... the knitted copper is like a flat sock which you can open up and slide over a plant or seedling. Because it is copper, its soft enough to crimp into a little protective tent, and the holes let all the light through, but not the damn slugs and snails. Perfect as a barrier around young plants, can be used this way or as a roll around pots, again, attachingbis easy as you can just crimp the copper mesh together with itself.Completely protects from slugs and snails if you use it as a physical barrier around a plant or plants. Can be opened up to form a sheet for larger areas, so quite versatile.The copper does not repel them though, my little copper cages around some seedlings are covered in slime where they have tried to get in, but obvs they can't.Will definitely buy again, and it looks nice. Sort of steam punk. Came quickly, exactly as described, very happy with it. Knitted copper mesh, very useful.

I scrumpled up and put some around base of plant pot on the pot tray and seems to stop slugs getting past it.

Ok think I have found the best way to use this mesh. I cut a disposable water bottle into three rings just a little narrower than the mesh. I then wrapped two rounds of mesh on outside of ring. I placed this over new plant as I planted it and no slugs on any of the plants, all thriving well. It sticks to itself so stays on and not one slug inside the ring. Will buy again next year and do the same thing.

My potted hostas are still being eaten.

Wrapped around pot as a slug protection jacket - worked a treat.I've tried everything to keep slugs/snails from destroying my Hosters in pots. They defeated every barrier from copper tape, to egg shells.Then I found this - and for the first year I have a fully leafed Hoster that looks beautiful rather than like its been mauled by a grizzly bear.

This stuff is brilliant and much better than copper tape. For the first time ever I have got to August and still have hostas with no snail damage. Just wrap it round the side of pots

I used this product to stop slugs from eating my plants. I used small garden sticks with the copper mess and put all the way in front of a boarder where my delphinium are. I am so pleased the slugs cannot get to them anymore. The delphinium now look brilliant and are flowering.

The netting has not been used yet, but I will test it out as soon as my beds are planted. It seems expensive for the size of the item, but it's difficult to tell until I unroll it.

Das Kupferband wird bei einem Hochbeet eingesetzt.Es kamen keine Schnecken mehr in den Salat, wichtig ist, dass keine Blätter über die Kupferband-Barriere hängen, sonst haben die Schnecke eine Brücke.
