Trust, patient centeredness, respect
Easy to read,Like everything about it. I compare it to the "universal healthcare" in Europe (Belgium)Patient's rights are non existing, there is no duty to report medical mistakes. Physicians are forced to lie since Insurance companies will take away the malpractice insurance. Physicians don't learn from their mistakes. There is a climate of " no trust". This all is sanctioned by the Belgian government.

Thought provoking
Path Forward is a thought provoking book that examines the critical trends in healthcare in a post-COVID world by exploring the domains of trust, safety, inclusion, consumerism and market dynamics. The book is riddled with excellent pearls that the author has collected through his learnings and travels. The author highlight the importance of building trust with patients and within the healthcare workforce. His thoughts about the future of consumerism and the digital connection with patients is particularly timely. I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in advancing the future of healthcare to improve the health and healthcare of our communities
