I loved reading this book. I am not a person that is entertained by words. I am an informative reader. This book was informative in a very entertaining way. I loved how it was written in layman's terms. I loved how the lessons learn were illustrated. I loved the transparency. I loved the teaching tips at the end. This book is about teaching but it is truly a lesson in humanity and that will never be outdated. A lesson in LOVE. I WILL READ IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. NO YOU CAN'T BORROW MY BOOK!

Amazing Read!
I received this book this morning and I read it within an hour! I could not put it down! As a 5th year, First grade teacher during an unknown upcoming school year, I will say that this is definitely what I needed. This book has reignited my passion for teaching. I've know Mrs. Cofer for a few years, and I can say this book is just like her, authentic and amazing!

Just when you think you cant teach another year
This collection of personal memoirs was: inspirational, optimistic and relatable. I enjoyed learning the personal thoughts of this life long educator as she forged lasting relationships with students who are often the ones 'no one wants'. Great Read!

This book is reminder that relationships matter.
This book was such an easy read. I felt as if I was reading a novel while getting useful lessons after each chapter. Cheryl Cofer was brilliant in her story telling, keeping it simple while teaching complex lessons. All teachers and administrators should read this book.
