I love this book! I have used it for myself as well as in group and 1:1 coaching to create a reference to the strengths that we all have within us. It is well written and the practices and meditations are a great way to start using what is taught. I highly recommend!

An intimate story about self and a tribute to one's ancestry. Like looking in the mirror with a soft heart and seeing through multi-dimensional eyes. An acknowledgement of the beauty within each one of us and all the potential we hold. Poems that inspire action and stillness to heal. A lovely daily read.

I suppose I can say this book was Ok, but it really wasn’t what I was looking for at all.Overall, I found it very “basic“ sort of archetype 101. I was just looking for something more in depth.As a whole though, I thought the book was a little all over the place. The author would go from poems to paragraphs to quotes and I just felt the material wasn’t as well organized and concise as it could’ve been.On the section of The Lover archetype, I felt it was just so full of spiritual colloquialisms. On one hand she was saying to feel your feelings and heal, but then says not to judge and not to put blame on people. It sounds right, but anyone who has done deep healing work realizes that judging and evaluating can actually be a really great thing when working through healing. It’s not all about letting go and taking an It’s not all about letting go and taking a deep breath. After that chapter, I just begin to skim it just to get through it.

Oooooo this book is super IF you are ready to step into your power and work through your shadow-sludge!! It's another fabulous offering from Mara (Ritual As Remedy is one of my favorites). I am so pleased and grateful to have received this particular archetypal perspective.

Mara’s books are SOOOO ACCESSIBLE. You don’t need to be an expert in the topics for her words to resonate. Her guidance and insight is so impactful and life changing. Would recommend to anyone interested in discovering their higher self.

Mara has an amazing ability to speak from spirit. She articulates the many layers of this feminine experience with beautiful poetry and wise words. The book is complete with practices to embody and shed, pages that I have been marked to return to again and again. Highly recommended to all and would suggest paperback so you can fold the corners and break the spine to come back to these chapters as needed.
