Health & Weight Management Supplements

I have taken any number of different supplements over the years. These are the only vitamins I can take without food and not get sick. I generally pay well over $200 a month for my supplements. With Dr. Perricone's vitamins I don't have to take any other supplements and have actually saved money. They are easy to take. The packs make sure you take the right amount and take all of your required supplements. Honestly I didn't buy them specifically for the weight loss and after a month I've lost around 5 lbs. I have done nothing different with my eating or working out. I bet I could lose a lot more if I actually tried!I will be using these vitamins for a long time.

Taking twice a day is too much to swallow and doesnt work as well.

Since beginning these supplements, I have noticed increased energy and healthier nails and skin after 6 weeks. I highly recommend you read Dr. Perricone’s books, especially the Perricone Weight Loss Diet. I take this package with omega 3 fish oil three times a day along with my multivitamin and astaxanthin supplement. This is not a cure-all. If you don’t exercise and clean up your diet, in particular significantly reducing your intake of sugar, you will not see the benefits. Again, it is three times a day dosage. If you’re not prepared to commit, save your money.

Good supplements, but only effective with diet.

Have been taking these daily for about 6 months.On the plus side:I really liked the convenience of individually-wrapped packets to take on the go. I didn't notice any upset stomach. The instructions say to take 3x/day, but I usually took once a day. I didn't see any marked change while taking them (actually gained a few pounds). Perhaps I would have seen a difference if I had remembered to take 3x/day.On the negative side:It is A LOT of pills to take - 8 per packet and 24 per day if you take 3x/day as recommended. These vitamins are NOT natural - I just contacted the company (888-823-7837) and the vitamins are derived from non-organic corn, which has about a 90% chance of being derived from genetically modified (GMO) corn. GMO corn has been sprayed with Roundup herbicide and contains bacterial genes. The recent documentary "Genetic Roulette"  Genetic Roulette - The Gamble of Our Lives  opened my eyes about the health risks of ingesting GMO corn. Some of it may be unavoidable in our food supply, but I am not going to pay $1.59/packet to do so. Many people, like my son, are allergic to corn, so I am surprised it is unlabeled here. Perricone vitamins are normally excellent. From this supplier, though, it looks as if the packets were left someplace very warm and humid. The white caplets are stuck together in most of the packets. Also, it doesn't seem if this batch of vitamins is as effective as prior boxes I've purchased. Maybe they're old. I will not use Shop Girl again. $50 off the normal price - I guess there's a reason for that. I'll buy the vitamins direct from Perricone.

These work wonders! I really notice it in my nails and my skin. However, they are a pain to have to take the time and swallow them all. You wouldn't think it a nuisance until you have them.

A lot of people complain that there are too many pills too take but if you look at the contents it's the same as their beauty packet plus the diet pills. On a cost basis this is a better value becuase you get more packets for the money than you would with the other one.
