This is a nice compact, light tripod head with fairly smooth pan, smooth tilt and a small size make it ideal for nature photography or even bird watching with field glasses. One of my favorite heads. The one downcheck is bucause mine will not stay on target during pan movements. It tracks back just enough to take my target out of frame. A bit of kentucky windage and practice and I've gotten used to it, but it can be annoying and should not happen. So, one star lost.

This is a good value tripod head, easy to install and use. It was not my first choice but I am pleased I brought it. Smooth movement in use with a 90° tilt. Light but can handle 3kg weight. Well worth the money. The only small down side is that I would have liked the clamp to open a little wider to take some older Acra plates I have.

This small fluid head is a lot nicer than I thought it would be. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design. The small arm can be changed to 4 different positions depending on your preference, which allows you to get it out of the way when needed, like for a low angle shot where the arm might hit a lever. All of the knobs feel nice and are well thought-out, like having the adjustable thumb screw for the pan knob. And the tilt knob has a nice shape and feel, and visually indicates the level of friction. The "open" design of the tilt axis shows that thought was put into weight savings as well, which is nice for those who pack a bunch of gear and realize how it all adds up. The arca plate clamps up tightly and also has a nice quality feel to the thumb screw. Finally, the last big thing is the nice feel of the drag for panning and tilting. Videographers need heads like these to have just enough adjustable friction to be able to make smooth shots without being jerky or stuttering. This head feels great in that department. Being a smaller head, if one gets used to the feel of it, you can basically keep fingers and thumbs on the levers, and come very close to operating this like you would a full size video fluid head, but with your hands controlling the friction of each lever in real time. That translates to buttery smooth cinematic shots, baby! And while I wouldn't put a large video camera on it, I'd feel comfortable with a smaller mirrorless, like a Sony alpha 6 or 7 series.

this is a nice small and light weight fluid video head. would be best for portable uses with lighter gear. my Mirrorless camera (Nikon Z6) was a little too heavy for it and it wanted to flop down if I let go of it, my larger ball head has more fluidity to it with larger gear.With that being said I think this would be a good head for lighter video cameras, point and shoots or action cameras. the knobs are a little small and close to gather for my hands though but are usable.

This LEFTFOTO fluid head tripod for video and all camera work is a fine piece of gear.Albeit that it is minor in dimensions it is major in performance.Solid build, incredibly smooth action. The settings are extremely easy to read because they are high contrast white lettering against a carbon black background.The folks that made this piece of gear knew what they were doing. When taking this fluid head in hand for the first time it seemed as if it were speaking to me and saying I am quality. The performance of the head has been worthy of my first impression.I have given this fluid or viscous damped head a vigorous testing for evaluation.It amazed me how smooth and how it is that you can fine tune the adjustments to perfection for a variety of camera weights.The adjustments are smooth and easy.The overall performance of this tripod fluid head is extremely gratifying.The head comes to you well packaged and ready to go. Simply screw in the adjustment handle or arm and you are good to go.I am not familiar with the brand or company, but if this product is their first entry into the market place and all other things to come are of equal quality, then I would think that they be destined for success.If you are looking for a compact fluid head that can do what the big boys do and even some better, then I highly recommend this LEFTFOTO product.
