Braun Series 9 Pro Electric Shaver with 4+1 Head, ProLift Trimmer, 5-in-1 SmartCare Center & PowerCase, Electric Shaver Charging Case

In comparing the Series 9 Pro with the Braun Series 7 which I have used for many years, the Series 9 Pro has a much bigger shaving head with a bigger facial contact area which makes it very comfortable in use, much more so than the Series 7. The 9 Pro has an additional brass coloured cutter.However, I have not found the 9 Pro to be more effective as a razor than the Series 7 it is just nicer to use.The updated cleaning system does seem to be more effective than that originally supplied several years ago with the Series 7, although there were no instructions about how to use the ‘Smart’ feature.

The media could not be loaded.  I am not a big fan of shaving but i do like a smooth finish, with this in mind i have been using a multi bladed wet shave systems for a few years before going back to electric. I have used a few different types of electric in the past with the 3 rotary head type being the worst for me as it never got really close and caused irritation (even with the high end series ones equivalent to this) I’ve also used a simple dual foil razor recently that got surprisingly close but did again cause irritation. So i looked at this but with the price being so high I was a little hesitant but eventually i took the plunge and have not regretted it yet!So the instructions suppled are rubbish for a supposedly £500 razor and the razor display itself is also a little outdated compared to the oled screens used on a certain toothbrush. The razor shows the charge level and cleaning reminder when done but now days i would expect better (charge level, live shaving time remaining, head change, cleaning status) the cleaning station is simple and you only get one cartridge with the package. The instructions for the cleaning station are also very poor and appears you only have the one choice of cleaning level manually selectable. I believe the razor will tell the station what level of cleaning is needed but I’m not sure.All this aside the actual shave is superb as you can see from the video i have left it three days and the series 9 just sails through with no bogging down or snatching of hairs it just glides through and gives a shave as close as wet without the hassle. It really does give a very close shave and quickly without irritation, it is easy to get a finish that leaves no feeling of stubble when running you hand against the grain.The only slight niggle is the head is so big that when doing your upper lip you can stick your lip in between the foils -although when I’ve done this it hasn’t cut the lip or grabbed it like you expect it toIt’s expensive yes but it does give a superb shave

Charge lasts over many shaves. Good product.

"Which" in its member 2022 review of electric razors Rated this as the best on the market.in my case, it did not live up to expectations So this review applies only to my experience and maybe because there is something about me rather than the razo.r I tried it for for just over a fortnight.I found the razor heavy and somewhat difficult to use it did not shave as closely as I expected taking. for me it was also a slower shave. than usual So I took advantage of Amazon's returns policy. I found the cheaper Braun Series 5 which I have since purchased from Amazon much easier to use and manipulate. For me it is smaller and lighter to use. I share "Which's view that the Braun Series 5 is a very good razor for mr. Having a severe vision impairment I use my fingers rather than a shaving mirror

A bit expensive to both buy and run but by a long way the best shaver I have ever used. It is of course still fairly new so time will tell.

I have had the Braun series 7 for a number of years and liked it a lot, it was getting a bit tired and tatty (it's 10 years old) so I decided to get a new one and saw the 9pro and the price was good with the cleaning station. Wow it's so much better than I was expecting. It shaves so close even better than my old trusty series 7. No skin irritation or razor burn and it's lighter and quieter too small differences I know, you can also use it in the shower if that's your thing Bottom line it's a great shave

Looks a great product, however there are no instructions in English. Yes I can download them but I shouldn't have to.
