They are versatile and made with good materials, the heat distribution is good and it is made to last! Did I mention they don't take a lot of space to store. No forever chemicals on them too!

I was a bit skeptical about ordering a caldero from Amazon without seeing it first, but this one exceeded my expectations. It has quickly become my go-to for making rice and stews. It cooks evenly, is a great size, and feels like very good quality. The handles do get hot, but that’s normal for this type of pot—if you’ve used one before, you’ll know to have silicone mitts handy

I am very happy with this caldero - perfect size an shape for cooking preserves, as well very light and durable. And because this cast not stamped, it will last forever - no internal stresses etc, can not say about this one yet, but we had cast aluminum pan in the family for over 60 years… I expect this one to be as good… I like that one so much - I ordered smaller one for day to day cooking and use it all the time now.

I got this pot, after checking reviews and other options. I choose this, because i wanted a pot that looks like a wok for easy stir fry and also be used to make other food. The pot cooks like a non stick pot, but with oil, i expected the food to stick to the bottom but it didn't and i was glad. Heat distributes evenly, easy to wash and not heavy but the material looks durable. The issues i have is the size, it looks smaller than I envisaged, also after the first time using and washing the pot the color now looked dull. But in all I am satisfied and will be getting a bigger size.

Came just as advertised. Only used it once so far but it work great for my stewed chicken.

Purchasing this pot was a home run indeed for my business. First time using this size pot and it was awesome no regrets. It was a bit on the pricey side. I considered it an investment. Easy to clean heat very well.

Mused to wash good out

This small pot met my expectations it's the right size I wanted and loving using to make gravy in.

The caldero arrived in perfect condition with its lid fitting perfectly and no visible aluminum casting defects. The edges of both the caldero and its lid needed some minor sanding though, for they are a bit sharp in a new caldero and would tear apart skin of my hand, or any sponge or towel used to clean and to dry it. I used dishwashing detergent to get rid of the dust (there was a lot of it), then cleaned it with Brillo pad, and polished it with cream of tartar and buffed with Flitz polishing microfiber cloth. It does not require any special "seasoning" with oil, tallow, or lard, unless one wants to pan fry something in it. It's beautiful. It's very roomy (18 cups of cooked rice or 4.5L of any other cooked food in it). It's just what I wanted. Made in Colombia. For some reason, it feels like the lid weighs as much as the caldero itself or more. Of course, it's an illusion, because the lid is 700g and the caldero is 900g, but still. There is much more metal per square inch in the lid than in the pot. The pot is made of thinner layer of cast aluminum and the lid is substantially thicker. I guess it will help keep the lid down when steaming rice or stewing/simmering something. I have heavier and much heavier cast aluminum calderos at home, so I actually appreciate how lightweight this one is.

This pot is the best for jollof rice
