Film night? Try this one old but worth a watch

The first film an absolute cracking action movie. Stellar cast and action scenes with plenty of typical Bruce Willis comedy lines. Mary Louise Parker perfectly cast, Karl Urban a superb bad guy and obviously the rest of the cast incomparable. Never thought I would ever see Helen Mirren with a sniper's rifle or a heavy 50 calibre Browning machine gun lapping it up with the enthusiam of a 20 year old. The sequel decent enough but not quite the same impact although locations were more impressive, especially Paris. There were plans to make Red 3 but they sadly never went into production. All in all if you like Bruce Willis action movies then buy it no question.

These are two great action films.After watching the first film RED, you know that the second filmRED2 is also going to be action packed.Bruce Willis,John Malkovich, Helen Mirren (she so sassy,and knows how tohandle a gun ) Mary Louise Parker.The same cast in the second film with the addition of Catherine Zeta JonesByung Hun Lee and Anthony Hopkins. All makes for a good films.I would recommend both films .

Am I the only one who didn't find either of these two movies particularly interesting?? The second one does have some more violence to keep me awake, but in general, this type of "comedy" action, supported by "comedy" background music and a very weak plot, is just not my cup of tea. It was a complete waste of time and money...
