I sent this to a loved one. It arrived quickly and costs so much less than using one of those larger companies to send flowers and snacks to people

This is a well-presented basket that anyone with a sweet tooth would appreciate as a gift. It arrives in a sturdy box and the entire basket is wrapped in cellophane. The blue ribbon/bow adds a nice finishing touch.It scores good marks for variety - the 2 Ghirardelli bars are the standout, but the other items, from lesser known US brands, are still enjoyable. I was surprised how tasty the enormous peanut butter cup was - and it’s enough to give the whole family a treat. I would have preferred chocolate covered almonds or brazil nuts instead of the cashews, but it’s no big deal.As with most gift baskets, there’s a good amount of shredded paper under the goodies, but if it adds some cushioning then I can’t complain. It was good to see no unnecessary packaging - I’m disappointed when gift basket products have an outer box, then a bag inside with a far smaller amount of product. Just simple plastic wraps here.Finally - if the lucky recipient likes to enjoy their gift slowly, there’s an 8 month shelf life / Best Before date on the outer box. Good luck resisting that long.

I think this is a really nicely put together gift basket. Everything is well laid out, fits perfectly in the basket with a bunch of paper shavings underneath, and it's well wrapped in plastic to keep everything together and organized. I will say that upon opening it I was a little surprised that there was really only what you could see from the top, there are no second layers of candy or treats, and the basket is certainly deep enough and looks like it would hold more. Despite some slight disappointment in not having more in it, I don't think it was a bad price for what you get when you factor in the presentation and all the candy that is there. The peanut butter cup is enormous, I split it with my husband and we both felt like we had eaten 3 or 4 full size Reese's PB cups, although it's maybe not quite as sweet. It should be enough to satisfy the most demanding PB lover. The chocolate covered pretzels were also quite large and delicious, but not so overwhelming as the PB cup.For me this definitely hits the mark for having both the treats and presentation to be worthy of a gift.

When I look at a gift basket I like to see value, but what a lot of gift baskets are designed to do is create perceived value. They do this by packaging it well and a deeper basket filled with shredded paper and one layer of items on the top. That's what you have here.In terms of presentation it is really nice, but you open it up you really can't see $35 in value here. Two bars of candy at around $3 each. Two small bags of popcorn, a chocolate pretzel, a peanut butter cup and two very small bags of candy. Once it's open it just doesn't feel like something I would be happy to have spent that much money on.Also, you might want to look around. There are a lot of these ghiradelli theme baskets on Amazon and beyond. This one doesn't really do much to differentiate itself from the rest.That said, it's a gift. So instead of looking for value for money I think it's ok to look for value as a gift. And I think this one is ok. It is very nicely presented and they package it well inside a form box and mail it in the usual Amazon box. There is a clear bit of pride in the work and I appreciate that.But there's a bit of variety here. Popcorn and chocolates of different type, both milk and dark chocolates.It has a value as a gift because, if you have someone who likes chocolate, it appears thoughtful and there's a warmth to it I think people will like.As to the popcorn, they are decent quality. Light, crunchy and flavorful. The ghiradelli candy speaks for itself. The pretzel was a little bland and some of the other candies are decent.I think if I was prepared to spend this much money on a chocolate gift I would likely consider this.

they fluff up the basket with so much crinkle paper that it looks more fuller but it's actually a very small presentation and selection of goods. i don't like how small each selection of bags was, it felt like you were not really getting that much product to eat. i was surprised at how small all the portions were.

This gift basket is perfect for gift giving. The basket comes in a nice box and is wrapped in cellophane with a nice ribbon. Each snack is individually wrapped and sealed. There are 2 bags of caramel corn, a very large peanut butter cup, 2 chocolate pretzels, 2 large candy bars, chocolate sea salt cashews and chocolate covered almonds. I particularly like that each item is packaged separately with all ingredients and calories listed. The basket is lined with paper and very nice paper shredded confetti. This basket did not make it as a gift as my family and I ate all of the goodies! I will definitely purchase this basket for any occasion that I need a gift! I live in a very hot and humid year round climate and all of the goodies were fresh and not melted which is a huge win! A very nice gift basket for the price point.

This is well worth the wait! It's not like most snack gifts, that have the handle basket that's just big and the basket never has a use. This one it's flat and has handles on the side! It's filled with wonderful snacks, and great for gifting to a couple. My husband and I enjoyed this greatly. I'd highly recommend it for anyone for any occasion!

This gift set comes in a decent looking woven basket that could be kept and used after, which is nice. It comes with a variety of treats, including some caramel corn, caramel corn drizzled with chocolate, a couple of chocolate covered pretzels, some chocolate bars etc. Each item is individually wrapped and the caramel/chocolate corn is in bags. All seems fresh and good quality. I deducted 1 star because I feel like the assortment doesn't suit my taste but it is a nicely put together package and would make a nice gift.
