Rock Grit Salt, 25 kg Packet for Winter Gritting, De-Icing, and Snow Clearing

Typically, the weather hasn't been unfavourable since I purchased this product, but it came highly recommended.Hence the 5 stars.

We sprinkle rock salt in-between our flags in the garden, which kills weeds and doesn't hurt any wildlife. This is a good product to use and is very economical.

Not used the product yet but assume it will give me slip free service on the driveway.Good sized sturdy bag but delivery time was a little slow and the box delivered in had all but disintegrated on arrival but as I said the bag holding the contents was sturdy enough. The slow delivery also meant we missed the last freezing temperatures, so haven't had a chance to test how good, or bad the product is.

This worked well on our frozen parking space and foot paths. The size of bag is the biggest I would buy for tipping into a grit and salt container, as it’s quite heavy.

When we had snow just before Christmas, I used it on my garden path and outside front gate. My garden and outside gate were the only ones clear in the street! I did use quite a bit and I probably didn't need to but I have stairs and was worried people would slip and fall so I put a lot on those.

Yes, I bought it to melt snow and ice, and it works, honest. Who knew? OK joking aside, it's very handy to have some stored away to keep your outside steps and paths clear of ice and snow. Recommend everyone get some before the worst of winter comes. And if you don't use it all seal the bag carefully, no holes, and no moisture can get inside, and you will have salt for next Christmas.
