Well needed as there’s a lot of ink that is collected in to these tanks, and when ordering you will need an average of 3, and a minimum of 2. Due to the fact that these have a micro chip, as soon as your tank is full the printer tells you, to replace the tank. Unfortunately these tanks are not reusable as I found out myself, by emptying one cleaning the sponge’s inside, putting the tank back together and reinstalling the tank, it’s a waste of time and very messy. Best thing to do is replace the tank with a new unused one, before starting printing. A company called “Printbase” sells these tanks through Amazon.
