The geese had done a really good job of creating a massive crater in the middle of the back lawn, they love a good dig 🙈.Knowing how short they get of quality pasture in the depths of winter I knew that I needed to get it re-seeded during the good weather.These seeds are really high quality, they germinated inside a week and within a month I had achieved full coverage again.Unfortunately while I was re-seeding that part Gina and Henry have been busy digging out another part, so guess I will be ordering another pack!

I sowed the green area a couple of weeks ago. It's growing well with no ground preparation or special care. It's only had rain. I sowed the bare area a number of days later and so far it's started to grow a little. That part is more stoney so I don't know how well it will grow. Looking promising so far though. I haven't put the chickens on it yet but I'm keen to see how well it will hold up to their digging little feet. 😊

I have seven hens and I move them from once grassed area to another throughout the year. The area they’re moved from often looks a bit bare. I’ve used this seed to fill bald areas and re:see the truly ravaged patches! It’s worked really really. Rapid and vigorous growth when seen in October, so in about 6 weeks. Just seen another area, a bit late in the year, but I’m hopeful of good results
