Nice flavour and fresh

Authentic tasting Thai green curry paste. Use 2 heaped teaspoons for 1kg of chicken is about right as the paste is very salty and highly spiced with a lot of heat, you can add more if you prefer it hotter. Use a tin of 400ml of coconut milk (check that it has about 70% coconut extract) for a more creamy taste and texture to your curry. Add 1/4 teaspoon sugar to balance out the spices to your dish. Bought beginning of July 2020, expiry date 24/12/21. Will keep longer if stored in the fridge. The thick paste is in a tough see through bag inside a plastic tub, so storage is no problem. The paste is quite pungent, if you get it on your hands it is easily washed off, though the smell can linger. We have used jars of ready Thai green sauces that have been very acceptable but they have been quite expensive per meal and the texture is not quite right because of the maize starch added. This is the best product we have used yet.

Use by date printed - 04.08.21 - so is that English or American? In the USA they say the month then the date - in the UK we say the date then the month - It arrived well packaged and its a beautiful curry - the best you can get in England. I just wish they explained the use by date as I am concerned about botulism I would buy again if the seller clarified. Also - just incase anyone by any means has a dogdy tummy - do not eat this! I love this Curry for Winter if you have a cold and flu - every ingredient just clears the airways. Very healthy. I would give it 4.5 stars.

Out of all the Green curry pastes I e tried. This one is the best I have purchased. Spice level is just right. I cut a medium hike in the plastic liner & there is no mess taking the amount you want out. Delivery time bang on. Mae Plou products are my number one go toos

Much too hot for my liking. I had to add extra coconut milk which altered the colour so it was no longer green.

Amazing curry paste! This is my favourite green curry paste! If you follow the directions on the package you can make green curry that tastes as amazing as going out to an expensive Thai restaurant. It has a great spice level and you can decide how spicy you'd like it to be by increasing or decreasing the amount of paste you mix in with your coconut milk. My wife and I really like the amount recommended on the package. We mix in bok choy, and red peppers. It cooks nice and quick and then we serve it on jasmine rice!

This is a great curry paste that I've been using for a few years. It makes a delicious Green Curry with minimal effort. It takes very little paste to make a dinner and a single container lasts me over a year.

It's the one you want if you're trying to replicate a typical Thai restaurant curry. Nice and zingy. Be sure you can take a little spice, and portion accordingly. Since you found the right curry. I'll let you in on a little secret: if you're using coconut milk. As a logistics professional, I'll share with you my sourcing information. If you're in the United States, unless you have specific access to a proven coconut milk, BY FAR, the best coconut milk is Thai Organic. Not the regular thai red or the (grose) green versions: Not because its organic. Because it's the correct portion of oil-to-milk with the associated proper flavour. It can be sourced from COSTCO for around $10 for a 6 pack. This will also hopefully help ensure Costco keeps stocking this type. Also, I'm not affiliated with Costco nor am I a Costco-fiend of sorts but if you like Chicken curry, Costco's Tyson 10lb pack is the best quality chicken breast I can find out of all the stores. However they were out of stock so I've yet to submit my approval for the Kirkland replacement 6lb pound I recently purchased. Additionally, the big yellow onion pack at costco is also suitable for all your onion needs. They are nice and fresh, better than other stores and even restaurants I've previously worked at where they're all moldy right when you buy them or quickly become such. The Costco ones have strong multilayered skins yada yada yada, good buy. You're welcome.
