Sometimes when a person or thing is very close to the camera it will go from color to black and white, but it stabilizes within seconds and doesn't really effect anything else.It comes with a lens cover to help conceal the memory card and lights. That way it looks more like a power bank and not a spy camera.Overall, a nice quality (sturdy metal) spy camera that takes good quality video (no sound) and can charge your devices.
