I don't understand.
I bought these because I was taking a trip and thought they might help for the long airplane ride. I have never worn compression socks before. I don't really understand what went wrong. I have a relatively normal leg and calf. My calf is about 15.5". The sock fit my feet and ankles very well and was super comfortable there. They just felt snug on my calf and leg for the first 3 to 4 hours but by noon they started to feel extremely tight and I began having very painful charlie-horse type muscle spasms in my entire right leg, foot and ankle. After about twenty minutes, I had to peel the socks down to my ankles to rub the knots out. This alleviated the spasms but they still felt tight on my feet by then. I couldn't wait to get to the hotel to strip them off. It was such a relief to take them off. Im not sure if I bought the wrong size but they seemed to fit when I put them on. Just not for me.

For wide"ish" calves
I'm 5'9", on the fluffy side, with big bones and very muscular calves. These are difficult to get on, and tend to feel excessively tight at the knee. Since this is mid-compression (not light compression like the others I've found), I'm only docking one star for the fit. I love the look and they feel very nice, but if you have a large frame and your calves are curvy, these may not be the best option for you.

After having a very bad injury to my left foot my foot swells and is very painful at the end of the day. These are the only socks that fit me right, decreased the pain I was having, did not roll down as I walked and my foot is not swollen and painful at the end of the day!

OH, you have DVT too? Get these!
These are really nice. I'm 5 ft 7 and have big calfs. These dont roll up behind my knee or scootch down. They are medium compression, so where these when walking all day, or if you have a pesky blood clot in your leg.These are great for daily use, I just ordered 3 more pair for daily use. These are priced cheaper than the compression socks sold in the pharmacy. And they seem to be better quality.

Happy with these new stockings!
Bought these for my 93 year old grandmother. They seem to help her not tire as easily and have more support and strength while she is walking. They fit nice and snug and go up to her knee. She can pretty easily grab hold of the top of each one and push down to take them off. Very happy with these stockings!

Not great on a 12 hour shift for my jenky foot.
I had foot surgery about 17 years ago. Still, if I am on my feet for hours, it will cause swelling in that foot. I have compression socks that prevent the swelling when I work 12 hour shifts at the hospital. These compression socks do not prevent the swelling, which can be painful. I wear these socks to run and go to the gym, though, and they are fine for that. They are probably also fine for folks without a jenky foot like mine.
