A good portable burr unit but it is too slow for heavy regular use as it takes a few minutes to do a single coffee grind. It does a reasonable grind but not fine enough for very fine espresso although a lot of smaller home espresso machines don't handle a very fine espresso grind too well, so ok for my smaller De'Longhi. I've done about 6 full grinds without recharging which is not bad. In my view a bit over-priced although Construction is quite solid so if you need something for camping trips and smaller amounts of coffee it is good for that.

This is my first foray into fresh ground coffee, I bought a budget battery grinder not expecting much. I'm actually pleased with this grinder does everything I need of it.I don't drink strong coffee so only grinding about 7.5g-8g per time and it is for use in an aero-press.I have it set a little finer than shop bought ground coffee and it isn't quite as consistent as shop ground. Not saying it is inconsistent just not as uber regular. Certainly good enough for my needs.It's not fast, it is a small, budget, individual person, battery powered coffee grinder - it will not be fast let's be realistic about expectations here. Besides does it need to be fast? when all the officinados advocate grinding slower and not heating the coffee during the grind process.(If you like a strong coffee or grinding coffee for than one person and want your fresh ground coffee done in seconds, this probably isn't going to suit your needs, go spend a lot more money on a mains electric grinder or make do with buying ground coffee).In use it takes a little longer to fine medium grind 8g of coffee than the kettle takes to boil one mug of water. So no big deal, I like to let the water cool a little anyway so it works out nicely.Build wise is OK. the top motor section connects to the hopper / cones section securely (twist and lock), the grinds cup just pushes into place so the top is smooth profile, easier to keep clean. The combination of ceramic cones and plastic grinds cup means there is a bit of static, not too much, if you handle the grinds cup well (to earth it) before opening it helps. The flat top is useful to stand the top section (upside down) when you take the grinds cup off. Super easy to clean, but it doesn't exactly get messy either and changing the grind setting is easy. A full charge managed to do a whole 227g bag to a fine medium grind (at 8g per go). All in all a nice little grinder.

Costs less than I paid for the hand grinder I was using, and grinds faster than I do. It is a little noisy, but it works well and is very convenient.I appreciate the fact it reverses the grinder for a second when it’s stopping. That’s attention to detail I’ve not seen in similar products.Great value.

Rather noisy, but gives a nice even grind, and has very good battery life. Just a little fiddly to get the right grind setting.
