This was a present for my 3 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. A bit of help is needed from an adult because sometimes the play doh is hard to squeeze into the little people but apart from that great!

My grandson has nagged me foronths to buy him this particular play doh set, but I was reluctant to get it because he makes such a mess normally with it. I ended up buying it for his 5th birthday and he was over the moon with it. I sent it down to his house though when he went home from ours.

This was purchased for a birthday present and it’s not his birthday yet but, his mum had one when she was a child and we got quite a lot of enjoyment out of playing with it. At Christmas she mentioned how much she liked it as a child but did not get Santa to bring one, so I decided I would get it as an extra birthday present as he wants a farm which I also purchased from you. I am not going to review it yet because the box is sealed and have not seen any of it. Come his birthday in 3 weeks I will review it, although I know he is going to love it as he was disappointed did not get one at Christmas but he asked for so many expensive things.

Bought at the start of lockdown to entertain a 2 year old and it’s still going strong!Lovely little set with a couple of main head moulds and you can also make extra patterns from moulds around the chair and base.However on the negative side the razor noise is intermittent, sometimes it works when it touches the play dough and sometimes not. Fortunately my little one makes the noise himself!Also beware play dough is messy anyway but this one is another level of mess with all the “hair”!I would still recommend as it keeps my boy occupied for a bit at least.

If you remember the Play-Doh barbers shop, where you put Doh into the man then you pumped it out causing his hair and beard to grow, much like me in lockdown. Not so much on the head though!You get out if the box electric buzzer clippers (requires 2 x AAA), 2 x character heads, plastic razor, scissors, brush, 5 x tubs of Play-Doh (net weight 10 oz /280g).I fully recommend this for great role play with Play-Doh not using me or their big sister as models. My only gripe is the clean up, as when cutting / shaving the Doh goes into tiny bits and every nook n cranny! But that's the same with all Play-Doh ennit?

If your kids love play doh then they will love this. My two year old plays with it for ages! It does however need a grown up nearby to assist getting the lady or gent onto the chair as that’s quite tricky for little ones but perhaps an older child would quickly pick it up. I don’t mind sitting with my two year old whilst he plays with this set however as it is quite therapeutic watching the hair grown and collecting all the offcuts of play doh.

The kids love playing with it. Load the characters with playdough, turn the crank and thier hair grows! There are also moulds all over the play set so you can make accessorys for the characters. My only gripe is that playdough can get stuck in the lift, I just used a toothpick to dislodge it (keeping it away from the kids of course!) also it makes a really loud click when you hit the max hight if the lift that pushes the playdough that always makes my kids jump.
