Great book written for kids but inspiring to adults as well
9 year old Wendy's Christian upbringing resulted in her having a very strong faith in God. That faith was shaken slightly when Wendy encountered a problem with a classmate. However her doubts were removed and her faith made even stronger as God guided her through the problem letting her know that her faith and her prayers will always be rewarded. The end is quite tanalizing.

Excellent Read
This was an excellent read for both children and adults. The friendships/kinships between the characters are such remarkable relationships. You can easily read it in one sitting or take your time chapter by chapter. Highly Recommend!

Positive role models for young children!
This book is a wonderful story for young people, with a lot of positive attitudes and lessons for children. Christian values and the power of prayer, treating each other with respect, the importance of friendship, and providing children of color with a positive self-image and strong family values are just a few of the important teachings that are in this story. Best of all, it ends with a discussion question and makes you excited to read the next book! Grab a copy to read in your Sunday school class or children's church group activities, or just read to your kids at night before bed!

The Review with Joy & Company Co-Host
I liked the positive reflection of children of faith bonding as a group. The cliffhanger sounds like divorce on the horizon. I feel this will be a great opportunity for the author to bring Terrance into the PPG. This will officially make him feel welcomed and an intricate part of the resolution for Lexi. Terrance will be able to show her there is good in what seems like your worst situation.
