Brilliant!
These clamps are quite simply fantastic! I reach for them all the time to hold things down on my MFT table as they are just so easy to use. They are incredibly well made and I find it very easy to get the right clamping force. I know they are pricey, but for the way they perform and their robust construction, I would absolutely recommend them.

Ohhhh myyyyy !!!
Listen...I know I’m a Festool Freak who absolutely loves anything Festool...but this here Lever Clamp, which I think is even originally designed and made by Bessey, is ....the 💣!!!! Yes, it’s a whole lotta dough to fork out for a measly single clamp , but once you use this... I tell ya , u won’t wanna go back to standard twist for half an hour to tighten clamps,AND you’ll be orderin another few of these and forgetting about how much money is left in that savings account😜🤦🏽♀️... Seriously these dudes are worth their weight in gold, and then some... They work in a lot of tight and narrow areas that regular clamps just don’t fit in(including Festool Tracks and many other Tracks by other companies)they’re small and compact, they are very ruggedly designed for real tough every day use, they look suuuuper cool, and best of all, they are literally a snap to use. You pull em back ,set the bottom hard alloy part under the object to be clamped, lower the top part to the object, then tighten by pushing the lever towards the rod thing...wham you’re clamped and good to go!! The green lil button releases, and they are strong enough to hold many things with just a single clamp instead of the usual minimal two....excellent!!! Thank you Festool and Bessey for this green/red stroke of pure clamping genius!!!!! 🙏🏼👌🏿👍🏿❤️🌕🐚✨❄️😘❤️🌹

Why did I wait so long...
I'm a keen diy'er and had coveted this clamp for a while. I hesitated buying one due to the price. Finally took the plunge and bought one. I was so impressed with the clamping power and versatility of it I immediately ordered a second. Yes, it is expensive for 'a clamp' but they are well made, sturdy and are as useful as a second pair of hands. I believe there are two sizes. This is for the larger 160 model.

Pretty good
Good product from festool (bessey) It does have some imperfections in the casting which may or may not just be a one off. It's easy to use. Creates a really strong grip on the workpiece or track (fs) If you have the regular wind up ones and have the budget for these I'd reccomend swapping but it's not essential as they both do the same job.

Impressive
Yes, yes - I know: "You're only paying for the name" "Chinese copies are the same but cheaper" I had some of the copies and they quickly broke. So sprang for these. I'm using them both as rail clamps and as clamps for my (DIY) MFT table thing. Unlike the Makita rail clamps I've also got, these fit through the 20mm holes in the table easily; the extra length of the Makita clamps prevents that. The ratchet action on these a) makes life faster and b) means there's no chance of things rotating as you tighten the clamp, which is a nuisance on the screw versions. They're doing sterling work on the projects I've got running, and I couldn't be happier with them. Well, except the cost, perhaps :)

Wonderful Purchase and Great Festool Quality
When you need precision, the Festool 491594 Quick Clamp turns heads. This robust clamping tool excels at securing workpieces for cutting, sanding, or routing. After extensive use, I can confidently say it offers unmatched versatility in any workshop. One standout feature is its impressive clamping thickness of 6 5/8 inches (168mm). This generous capacity accommodates various workpieces effortlessly. Whether you’re working on a thick wood slab or a delicate veneer, this clamp adjusts to meet those needs. Another advantage lies in its ratcheting mechanism, which ensures easy locking and quick release. I found this incredibly helpful during lengthy projects where switching between tasks can slow you down. Instead of fumbling with stubborn clamps, I could swiftly change setups, enhancing overall efficiency. Integration with the MFT table is seamless. It locks into the holes and channels without a hitch. I appreciated this feature during my recent furniture project. Utilizing the MFT table alongside the clamp provided a reliable platform for precise cuts while keeping everything stable. Using the clamp with guide rails greatly expands its versatility. The ability to insert it into the bottom t-slot of guide rails permits limitless positioning, a game-changer for complex angles or curves. I enjoyed working with different setups, achieving angles I previously found challenging with standard clamps. Compatibility is another strong suit of the Festool 491594. It works seamlessly with a variety of Festool machines, including KAPEX KS 120, MFT/3, TS 55, TSC 55, and TS 75. For anyone deeply invested in the Festool ecosystem, this clamp is a perfect addition. While the clamp performs well, adjustments may take a bit longer for some users. It requires a learning curve to fully understand its best use cases. With practice, you’ll find that the clamp delivers consistent quality and reliability. The durability of the construction stands out, too. Materials feel sturdy and can withstand rigorous shop environments. Having used similar clamps, many have plastic components that break over time. However, Festool’s choice of robust materials ensures long-lasting performance. What I love most about this tool is its ability to enhance workflow without interruptions. Switching from one project to another, I enjoyed the consistent clamp performance. It has made every job go smoother and with less fuss.
