CloverWater Soluble Marker Fine, 1, Blue

This pen does work really well but the first time I used it I just dabbed the pen away with a wet cloth and the pen kept coming back in various places around my embroidery fabric. I found I had to fully submerge my work in water and that way the pen didn’t appear again. Now I know to do that I’m happy with this purchase.

Lovely for marking quilts. Removes easily.

Washes out really easily (I’ve been able to use a small spray bottle of water to get rid of lines I’ve messed up; the ink disappears but expands across the material, leaving a light blue “stain” so you do still need to soak the material or stick it in the washing machine when you’ve finished sewing), colour is bright but the ink does bleed, even when I’ve been really careful & tried to use the thinnest lines I could. I’ve been using this whilst hand-sewing dolls clothes & because the ink bleeds, it’s not always easy to use/follow on smaller items. Would probably be fine on larger/less detailed patterns.

The product works well but doesn't last very long making it very expensive to use.

Clover is known to be top dog in pretty much all embroidery accessories. This pen is definitely in the top 3 of water soluble pens. No need to add soap, just have some water and the pen marks disappear instantly. You can use a q-tip for fine lines left over, or just your finger or spray bottle. Very little is needed to get rid of the marks.An absolute life saver.

Just what I was looking for. Have used this on severl projects and am pleased with results. Washes off easily

I have used this to mark out measurements on a number of fabric products. Use just like a regular pen, the more pressure used the more intense the colour. Quick spray with water and any lines/marks made, miraculously disappear. I used this on a range of cotton/poly cotton fabric, including whites and light colours, not sure how it would respond to more delicate materials.

Excellent crayon qui fait une ligne très fine. Parfait pour tracer des petits formats ou des contour délicats. Part très bien à l'eau claire.

Does the job well when you can see it on your chosen fabric. I had difficulty seeing it against some light colored patterns and when you could really see it, it look more than a light spray of water to remove it.

Me ha encantado, es muy sencillo dibujar sobre la tela para bordar el modelo y, si te equivocas, es muy fácil corregir porque se elimina perfectamente con agua.

Da tempo cercavo un pennarello per tessuto che si eliminasse con facilità. Questo si elimina subito senza lasciare traccia appena entra in contatto con l’acqua. Ha la punta fine è traccia bene i segni sul tessuto. Assolutamente consigliato.

Je l'utilise pour marquer des repères sur mes tissus avec découpe ou couture. Il trace un trait bleu très fin qui s'efface facilement en mettant une goutte d'eau et en frottant légèrement avec le doigt. Par contre, il a tendance à baver sur des tissus tels que le tafta (préférer la craie dans ce cas, moins précise mais marque mieux sur ce tissu).
