It does what it supposed to, brinsea always has great products and this is one of them.

Fits my Brinsea Maxi II Advance. Will be using it in a few weeks to hatch out some quail eggs.

Excellent product
Excellent for hatching smaller eggs such as quail or sebrights. We've used this plate several times and I cannot recommend it enough.

It works
I marked the eggs with a line to verify their angle of rotation and noted that some larger eggs in the outer ring did not have enough friction to turn, but were fine on the inner ring. Also the angle of rotation on the outer ring is smaller than the inner so occasionally repositioning eggs may be good. Since I was only incubating 16 eggs out of 40 positions, I had plenty of room for this and for a secondary thermometer and humidity gauge.This was my first attempt at incubating quail eggs and I am pleased.
