Unbeatable Barrel for Distance (w/a Few Nuasances)
Pros:Outstanding distance addition -- shoots further than any standard barrel. Lightweight but sturdy construction. Excellent marker appeal w/unique mil-sim style appearance. Easy to install. Built-in front sight.Cons:For maximum accuracy you must properly align the barrel once it's installed (instructions are included) -- otherwise the paint will veer left or right. Flatline adds significant distance *only* if your velocity is set properly (best between 260 FPS - 270 FPS). Must use higher quality paint to prevent ball breaks in the barrel -- not too hard-shelled but also not too brittle (Marbelizer pro series works great). Not quite as accurate as some high end 14" - 16" barrels.Overall:Well worth the investment if you're looking to add 50 - 100 feet of extra range over standard barrels, willing to use quality paint, and properly align the barrel while also keeping it clean of internal debris. Highly recommend for woodsball & mil-sim players, particularly in large open spaces.

Must have for Paintball
This is an awsome barrel. It makes the paintballs fly almost perfectly straight. A lot of people say it slows your fps way down. It may have just a little but it is nothing to worry about. If your used to aiming above people at longer distances like i was, then it is a little hard to get used to. The only bad thing is if you use really cheap paintballs it will break them. Overall great product!!

Love it
The biggest problem with the Tippmann 98 C is the stock barrel - it sucks. This one increases your range a good 200 feet, and is reasonably accurate. I was in a fort shooting at a guy behind a couple of 50 gallon drums about 60 yards away, and after a few shots I was able to start putting them consistently through a crack only 2" wide. He went out and could figure out how I got 3 balls through the crack from so far away.As far as installation goes, it was really easy. Lots of people have had to loosen the front screw, but I found if you use some paintball gun oil or other such lubricant you can get it to thread on fairly easily. The extra picatinny rail (for the older 98c's) went on my gun really easily, though it is a pain to take off every time you want to clean or upgrade the guts of the gun. I mounted a cheap red dot (yes, they are fairly useless, but it looks cool and I had $15 to blow) on it and it sits great and looks better. If you're looking to upgrade your gun, this is the one I'd get first. I'm making the flatline barrel a must on my list.

do not buy!
so i purchessed this barrel cause i liked the design, and like the extanded rail system built into the top. The look of this barrel is great, the design in unique with the curved barrel to cause backspin and shoot farther. BUT it really shoots like junk. Every round i shot curved in diffrent directions, and if i shot more than 5bps i would have rounds break in the barrel. it wasnt my paintball guns fault the rounds broke because when i put on my 18" barrel it shot rounds smooth with 0 breaks all the way up to 15bps. i suggest no one purchess this barrel unless its just for display, in an actual game you will waste more ammo than if you were to throw the paintballs at your target

Barrel and smt else
Good barrel, increased mine accurancy, welldone. In addition with rails makes your marker look cool but I have small issue about last ones - I have to left rails, well it's not bad I now can replace left one in case of damage but where is my right rail I have no idea. So 3 stars.
