Had this jacket for about 3 years, and it's brilliant. Keeps me very warm and dry - never sticky - and cleans remarkably easily.I use it for simple tasks, like gardening, and for tough jobs in the 'real world' and it performs very well indeed. Would I buy another? Yes - if this one ever wears out!

Really pleased with this coat. After spending many long nights standing around in the freezing cold until the early hours of the morning, I wanted something that would actually keep me warm, dry and most importantly, visible. I would expect that some people might say it's a bit larger than expected, but this permits a fleece to be worn underneath for even more warmth. Even my thick quilted fleece jacket just about fits underneath for those really icy nights, although the combination of the two makes me feel like I'm wearing an eiderdown. The external hand pockets are large enough to slip my gloved hands into. The pocket flaps do not have annoying velcro or poppers to undo, making it easy to slip your gloved hands in and out as required. The hood, rolled up and concealed in the collar is adequate, but not what I would call 'great'. However, if you're in the middle of nowhere and it starts to rain, then you'll be glad it's there. The hood has a simple draw string affair so that you can tighten it around your chin. It does not have a 'peak', but is big enough to cover the baseball cap that you are wearing. The front zip is of the chunky variety and hasn't given me any problems so far, other than having to remove my gloves to do it up. It unzips from the bottom as well, allowing easy access to my fleece pockets or if you need to 'powder your nose'. A storm flap covers the zip and has 4 easy poppers to keep it shut. On the inside there is an internal pocket that has a small velcro tab to keep it shut. This pocket is large enough to take my Samsung Galaxy S5 which is one of the larger style mobiles. I would have liked an additional internal pocket with a key attachment so that my keys stay safe and are easily found at the end of the night. In practice, I tend to zip them up in one of my fleece pockets. There is an inner knitted cuff inside the ends of the sleeves to stop draughts. On the front, there is an unobtrusive manufacturers label sewn on with the horizontal reflective strip. I have managed to attach a small caribiner to this, which permits me to attach a lightweight pocket torch to it via the torches wrist strap. The label seems to be caught under 2 rows of stitching and shows no sign of pulling off as yet, despite my torch being attached. The reflective stripes etc seem to be of the usual industry standard and the 'day-glow' yellow is very bright in daylight as is to be expected. The coat is quite long and rain water drips off lower down, whereas with a bomber jacket style coat, you would probably end up with a damp and uncomfortable waist band. Finally, I think it is great value for money and it's so much nicer to be warm and dry for a change. Highly recommended product.

Really well made and very bright. I use it on my eScooter in London. It has made a difference in the way drivers are treating me. Seems to come with built in authority :)It is well made, keeps me warm, doesn't steam up on the inside and is very bright. Much cheaper than a cycling jacket.

Have not worn this in peeing rain but in freezing wind, light (horizontal) rain and hailstones is very warm and seems pretty water resistant. Have only worn a couple of times so cannot testify to durability, but good so far. Could do with breast pockets - but should have spotted that when I ordered it! Overall a good jacket and not expensive.

It’s good warm and a must for security operatives with night patrol jobs.

Zip can be a bit fiddly to fasten. But overall very good. Use it too cycle to work and back in the dark. Very good.

This is used as a winter weather prof coat as I work on open loading bays. This jacket is light and comfy to wear and is water tight when zipped up. The pockets are generous for storage, this is a good jacket to own and is well made.
