Okay for the price
These clamps are fine for most jobs. I'm not sure I'd want to put a massive amount of compression on them, but for most joints they are going to be fine. The biggest complaint is the pin that holds the fixed end in place are really loose and fall out easily. This is fine if you're placing the clamps on a flat surface but a real pain otherwise. I have to tape mine in place.

Heavy duty clamps perfect for any job
I bought these clamps by mistake (I was starting out in wood work with a plan to begin small). I was looking for medium size sash cramps to make a chopping board, but I was concerned that the smaller sizes would bend (none were heavy duty). I saw these and noted the 'heavy duty' tag and the amazing price and jumped straight in, not looking at the size (and boy did I get a big surprise when they arrived - they are huge). At first I thought working with these would be a nightmare, but they have proved to be amazingly versatile for large and small jobs alike - my first ever wood work project (a chopping board) was a resounding success, which gave me the confidence to move immediately to a much larger project - a workbench, which turned out equally successful! These clamps allow me to work on any project without having my small garage overloaded with clamps and vices. 3 of these were enough to create a full size work bench (clamping leg frames and the four 4x2s for the counter top) and a small chopping board - it may not be conventional, but it works without fault.

Not to be over stressed !
I'm an avid woodworker around the home. If it's made from wood, I'm your guy.Our garage door seems to be alive. Each year I seem to shave, cut or sand down to close it.This year it went mental, joints expanded beyond belief. So I bought this clamp to pull in the door to original settings whilst glued. The clamp bowed under tightening, the handle to tighten jammed and was a nightmare to release.I've used it on other jobs since, and I would say it's great, providing you don't tighten too much. For the money, good value. Jobs you need to clamp , that are big......excellent if you remember to NOT expect to get a very tight adjusting.

D0es the job
was under the impression it was aluminum but received a rather weighty steel clamp if you don't mind the weight it certainly does the job

Only useful for light work
The product arrived and I was content with the item until I had to use it. I was trying to repair a crack that was in a table that I had. It is a large item and these were the only sash clamps that I could find which were large enough and as this was to be a one off job I did not want to buy more expensive items available. Anyway their size was just what I wanted but the fault lies in the fact that you are unable to get enough leverage on the clamp handles to clamp items tight. I used some tubing to obtain more leverage but this only bent the clamp handles.Overall the product appears fine and would be suitable for very light work. If you have heavy jobs to do or are going to use the clamps on a regular basis then I suggest that you look at the more expensive options. For light work fine, for heavy work no good.

Good solid clamps
I ordered two of these and strangely, they were delivered separately by two different companies. One is orange like the picture, the other is blue, but other than that they are both identical. I was a bit worried about buying these as several reviews for sash clamps have not been good. However, these seem like the real deal and are of solid construction. They are heavy in weight, which is somehow reassuring and I feel these will last me a long time. So, if you are like me and not sure which ones to buy, I can say that these seem like good quality clamps and you shouldn’t worry.

Good bit of kit for the money
Well made. All metal construction. Only downside for me is the handle to tighten the clamp is quite small, so there isn’t the leverage to easily tighten it up once you’ve got resistance against the thing you are clamping. Otherwise, it did the job well.

Heavy, but good
I bought a pair of these to use in my workshop. They arrived well wrapped up as a pair and were flippin' heavy! when I unwrapped them one of the little pegs to hold the bottom sliding piece was missing. The chain was there but no peg. No worries, a small nut and bolt dealt with that. Easy to use if heavy and they do exactly what I expected - holding long items together whilst securing them.
