My Holly has enjoyed this since the day I opened the box 6 months ago!
Everything! The quality, the steps, the little cubby underneath. Can't say enough good stuff about this!

Well made seat for small to medium dogs
We were impressed by the quality. My husband had no issues putting it together. To be fair he has a lot of experience putting things together :-). The only issue, my fault, is that we bought it for our smallest dog of three. He has had multiple back surgeries. He is a Maltese mix and only 9 lbs. The stair bottom to first stair is 6.4", the first to second stair is 6.4" and the second to top is 4.5". So for him its a bit steep. I plan on going down and buying a piece of wood and having my husband cut it to fit on top of the first stair. I will stain it charcoal grey to match and he can screw it down on top of the original stair. I can add velcro and take the rug piece to add to the top. This should work well. I will also add remove the small drawer. Its made of material not wood. I can have him attach a door which can be opened and operate as a 2" step and closed when not needed. The door is 4" tall. We could put 2 pieces (2" thick) screwed together or a 4" thick piece of wood inside the drawer then pull it out. :-) I love options. Yes its a little extra work but I love it. We will make it work. I just want to keep our two bigger dogs (both are small, too) looking out the window from the back of the couch and not taking up residence on his window perch. I will post a picture when we are done modifying it. I would definitely recommend but will also suggest these specs be seriously considered before ordering. If you like to tinker and do projects like we do it will be fun and provide a wonderful place for your pet.

My Doggie Loves It
After i moved my doggie's crate to the second floor, I wanted to create a window perch for my 15 pound mini-poodle. He would snooze on top of the crate or lay down and watch the world outside of the window. This 2-part unit looks nice and there's plenty of room for my buddy. While I was putting the stairs together, he figured out that he could lie down in the bottom or the top part. The only thing I didn't use was the fabric drawer - he loves round things and I figured that he would try to eat the knob!!

Good material
Overall I'm pleased. Wished the stairs attached as my dog is small and gets scared because the stairs move as I have tile and not carpet. Also the stairs are far apart for a small dog with short legs. I have dachshunds.

Works great!
So I have a princess puppy who must get access to everywhere at all times… I work in a 1960’s guest house with long crank type vertical windows and decided to build in a dog door using wood and plexiglass, but needed steps in the inside- this was perfect!! Very sturdy, well built, and she flies in and out with ease!

Does the job
Got this for my spaniel mix (19.6 lbs, 19" girth, 15" from base of neck to base of tail) to see out the window at work. I wish I had gotten something bigger so she can spread out, but this is fine for her to people watch. It's not a shade of gray I particularly like, but it was the best option in my budget. It was mostly okay to assemble. Took me about an hour. The directions are okay so long as you pay attention and lay out each piece exactly as shown in the pictures in the manual. It certainly wasn't the worst assembly I've done. It's manageable with minimal headache. I don't love that the steps are a different width than the landing and that the steps dont screw into the landing, but I guess that's okay since it allows for the steps to be positioned wherever you want. I have this on top of carpet, so I'm not worried about it sliding around. It's good for the price. I may consider doing contact paper or something to make it more visually appealing.

Perfect perch
I had my in-laws assemble this. It did take time to assemble but it's worth it. My dog loves it. He gets to look outside and relax. The storage underneath is nice. It's also durable. I put a floor mat underneath to prevent sliding since we have hardwood floors.

Does the job
We bought it for our Pomeranian who struggles jumping on our high bed but our malinois likes to lay in it too even though she doesn’t really fit. Not sure what they’re called but it’s the hardware that locks in screws/bolts, keep falling out.
