Bought this took to tackle over growth on a mound at back of my house - saws small branches with a few strokes cuts out weed and is general multi purpose tool, straps to back pack and has a cover - the teeth are pointy and sharp. Value for money as I will use it on may occasion in garden or out walking

So to start with this saw is basically a knockoff imitation of the Silky Gomboy 210, to the extent that the blade swap over perfectly, which is handy as it's is cheaper to buy this saw than a replacement blade for the Silky. The rubberised grip is very comfy to use, possibly even more than the Silky. However, the release catch is extremely wobbly and shows where manufacturing saving have been made, but it is perfectly usable. The key element is the blade itself and without a long term test comparison is difficult. After a short use the blade cuts well but I doubt the teeth have been edge harden in the way Silky saws are. In short a perfectly usable saw, but if I was using it everyday I'd still go for the Silky, but occasional use this is fine.

For the money this saw does what it says didn’t want to spend a fortune on something that does the same thing as this

Great saw, great price. Compact, reasonably lightweight.

EDIT: After using this saw for a full day of hazel coppicing, I have to say the blade lock really needs some work. After a while, the blade kept dislodging itself and going into the bent-back position, as the lock was not holding it in the straight position with any efficacy. Still an ok saw for the price, but I don’t see myself getting much more quality use out of it. If you’re using it now and again, go for it. But if you’re using it for any meaningful amount of work, splash a bit more and get a better quality saw.ORIGINAL POST: Certainly a very useable saw, however the blade does not lock when folded which seems like an oversight, and the blade seems flimsy. Great for the price point though.
