We have an older dog that suddenly decided that food was no longer a priority. He lost a bunch of weight and we took him to the vet. After being treated with antibiotics for a gastro-infection and probiotics for intestinal inflammation, his appetite still didn't come back. We started giving him a mix of dry/wet food at dinner and he ate that all up but didn't eat his dry breakfast. We came across this product and thought it was worth a try.I started out sprinkling two scoops on his dinner and within three days, he was eating his breakfast again. Not only that, but he seemed to be asking for more halfway through the day. After a couple of weeks of that, I dropped down to one scoop to see if he would still want to eat as much. He's still too thin, but he's no longer gaunt looking. He's got a bit more energy again, now that he's eating more. I don't know how much longer he'll be with us, but I'll continue to use Ready Cal to keep his appetite stimulated.

Contacted Amazon for a replacement and received the same misplaced cat powder. Now I only order directly from the company website because this is literally the only thing that gets my dog to eat and I can't risk receiving the wrong powder or the dog won't eat. But I would 100% recommended the product - it saved my old furry friend's life!!!

Our dog is 15, a rescue, and a 14 year history of vet visits because she often lost her appetite.
