Good value for money mixed selection of sanding discs

Seem reasonable quality given the price

Top brand mesh sanding discs are mostly sold in single grit packs so if you need 2 or more start looking expensive unless you do a lot of sanding.I bought these to see if they are a better value option trade off of more discs for less efficiency or quality maybe.Sadly I don't think these are much cop at sanding. My project is a double set of oak doors with a weathered and damaged top coat.I expected to remove a lot of finish and wanted to minimise cleanup by hooking vacuum extraction to the sander so a mesh disc was my first choice.Even the coarsest grit made little impact, which may be a reflection of the durability of weatherproof wood finish, but the discs are lightweight and there is little substance for the abrasive to adhere to?I ordered a pack of 5 De Walt 80 grit and can definitely confirm they are a rigid open weave and far more capable and fit for purpose.If you have a challenging job to do get the brand versions it will cost less in the short and long term?I don't know how the cheaper ones would be with softwood or lightweight sanding, but I suspect ordinary sanding discs would still be more efficient

There's plenty of them but they don't seem to last as long as branded makes but they are very cheap so it make up for it.

Im a Carpenter and Joiner by trade, Ignore what others say about quality vs price. These are so bad that they are next to useless, the original Mirka will out last these x 20 at least, a dozen strokes and these are done, Save your money by getting the originals.

Schleifgitter ist ja nun der neue Standard. Die Dinger sind durchlässig, wodurch man den Staub besser absaugen kann und dadurch ist die Standzeit auch höher weil sich diese Schleifscheiben nicht so schnell zusetzen.Mit diesem Set ist ein guter Start gemacht. Für Flächen sind die Schleifscheiben sehr gut. Der Abtrag ist gut und sie halten gut auf dem Schleifteller.Natürlich reißen sie ein wenn Ecken und scharfe Kannten in das dünne Material sich reinbohren aber aus diesem Grund eine negative Bewertung geben ist nicht fair.Für mich ist Preis-Leistung absolut ausreichend.

Im Prinzip nicht schlecht. Ich bin zur Zeit am Renovieren im Haus und bin an den Rigips Platten dran. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mir zum Testen diese Schleifscheiben gekauft. Klar, man kann diese Schleifscheiben für das Geld nicht mit den Schleifscheiben vergleichen, die wir in der Schreinerei haben. Das war auch nicht meine Beobachtung. Was mir aber aufgefallen ist: die Standzeit ist recht kurz. Schnell ist die Packung mal aufgebraucht. Mag sein, dass die Originale teurer sind, aber die halten auch um einiges länger. Deshalb auch nur 3 Sterne. Für den schnellen Gebrauch ganz okay, aber mehr auch nicht.
