The media could not be loaded. This was bought for a 7 y.o. who could build it with a bit of assistance. There are about 65 building steps so it takes a while to assemble. But once built this robot is awesome and this is where the fun begins.The robot can be driven with the included controller but if you have a tablet, you get so many more ways to control it. With the app you can control it with a screen controller, or with voice commands, or with a gyroscope, or have it follow a line pattern you draw on the tablet or finally you can program it. There are so many learning opportunities with this robot.The only problem I found was getting the app to work. There are no instructions to speak of but it is fairly intuitive.Also all the parts were there.

It's a great toy, it was a great experience to put together, but it's not that easy to assemble! I would buy it again anytime, I highly recommend it!

A STEM robot: Around a single CPU, you can be a trio of different models, controlled either by the included remote or an app, which itself builds up from voice commands, to a simple tracking interface to some basic algorithmic instructions.That's pretty miraculous for 40 quid, but as is all so frequent in these toys, the purported target audience has been forgotten. The 606 piece not-lego kit is far to challenging for an eight year old to tackle, and as it's a block build, even when built it's not really going to work as a kid's toy, being far too fragile to withstand any knocking about.Your best bet, I'd say, if you want it to work as a stem toy, would be to make the robot yourself and glue the bricks together, wherein it will be useable for it's purpose.As a display item, if you are a robot collector, it's an impressive 10 inches tall, though all the detailing is a bit basic.

I brought this for my nephews 9th birthday. He spent a couple of days putting it together & now loves playing with it. He sent me a video & it looks fab.

The toy is value for money. Still there are two key issues. 1) Some of the 30x bolts are missing. Can barely complete the robot by altering the design a bit. 2) The rotation speed of the left and right wheels are different, so the robot can't walk in straight line. The design is good, but the execution is not careful enough. It should have 5 stars if not these two key issues.

Bought as a gift for a nephew but he called after one month to say it doesn't work - tried to contact the seller and amazon but no avail as it was already 30 days - nephew was very upset

An excellent product.. My Kid enjoyed a lot and spent almost 10 Hours to build the first robot.Its not so easy and so hard to make it. Very interesting.One of the main advantage is its working with Mobile app and various options. Best option for a birthday gift!!

Ignore reviews saying this is to hard to build for the target age range. Assembled by my 9 year son by himself over 3 evenings, no assistance from parents required. Robot looks fun and works as expected.

Dieses Produkt war als Geburtstagsgeschenk für den Sohn gedacht. Und er ist sehr zufrieden damit. Er hat es mit etwas Unterstützung größtenteils alleine aufgebaut. Die Steine waren vollständig, die Fernbedienung funktioniert einwandfrei und auch die Anleitung lag bei.Dieses Produkt übertrifft ein ähnliches vom Marktführer aus Dänemark. Dieser Roboter ist wesentlich günstiger, eine gedruckte Anleitung liegt bei und es funktioniert einwandfrei auch ohne App! Das alles war beim Marktführer nicht gegeben…

Wir haben angefangen den Roboter zu bauen, sind aber bereits am Start gescheitert, weil dort, wo der Stecker für den Kopf rein soll, die beiden Kabel rausschauen, dieser Stecker passt irgendwie nicht ganz rein, bzw. würde man dann die Kabel aufquetschen. Wenn also jemand einen Tipp hat, nur her damit :-)Dann haben wir uns an den Panzer gemacht, dieser klappt gut zum bauen, dauert zwar lange, aber das Endresultat schaut sehr gut aus. Nur die Fernbedienung ist hier verkehrtrum, bzw. gibt es die Bauweise so her, dass vorwärts auf der FB rückwärts ist und umgekehrt. Sprich, die Scheinwerfer sind am Heck und nicht vorne. Wenn man diese quasi vorne haben will muss man auf der FB die Rückwärtstaste bedienen.Ansonsten macht das ganze Material und aus das zusammengebaute Fahrzeug einen robusten und wertigen Eindruck.

Wir haben es unseren 9 jährigen Sohn geschenkt und er hat sich mega darüber freut. Es lässt sich nach der Anleitung einfach zusammen bauen und ist auch sehr stabil. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war auch super, nur die Fernbedienung war Seitenverkehrt was aber die Funktionstüchtigkeit nicht einschränkt.

Naja, beim Zusammenbauen noch nett, aber mehr als die 2 Funktionen zum Steuern der Ketten sind halt nicht drin. Sieht nach mehr aus, fährt halt gerade aus oder rechts und links rum, manchmal hängt die Kette, und die App Steuerung über das Smartphone funktioniert gar nicht. Dafür hat man dann wohl eine chinesische App mit halber Übersetzung, halber Funkion und ganzer Backdoor nach China auf dem Smartphone.Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.
