The kit was exactly what I needed to fix my leaking Moen single-handle shower faucet. Everything needed to do the job right was included with easily followed instructions.Great product for any DIY-er!

The part they sent was defective. Even the pulling tool was defective. The pic shows what they sent to me (the discolored one) vs a new moen brand cartridge. The one Amazon sent appears to be used! The tool didn’t seat properly as if it was cut wrong. Ended up calling out a plumber. He used his tool and the old cartridge came right out. I had him install this one o purchased since I already had it. It leaked the next day so I had to have the plumber come out and install a brand new moen brand cartridge. $400 later and now my shower works. Had the part been decent, I could have done the repair myself. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It sucks. Waste of time and money. No happy.

The tool helped but ultimately sucked. I had the parts breaking in half on me. Have patience and time available when this breaks. I ended up using a wood screw and a puller to get mine out finally.

The cartridge was about 0.5 mm too long. Due this small error the retaining component could not be installed. I had to use the old body with the new internal components installed.

Make sure to lubricate the black rubber on both side . Also a good thing to sand lightly inside of the shower unit to smooth things out .

the cartridge was defective. A plumber took it to a hardware store and had it replaced as there is a guarantee on it. The Cartridge remover the plumber took as payment for replacing the cartridge for us.
