I've been using the MANSCAPED Beard Hedger for almost a year, and it's easily the best beard trimmer I've used so far. I just purchased this item and have been using it for about a week. I'll speak to what I experienced thus far: I am in my 50's and have been through quite a few beard trimmers in my time. I typically like to be clean-shaven but in my line of work, that isn't always convenient. Therefore, my common facial hair practices are best served as quick and as short as possible -- which is why a beard trimmer is a necessity. One of things I have always disliked about the beard trimming process is the mess and the cleanup, and in the past I've purchased trimmers that catch the hair as it cuts. The downside to those products was how short they would trim, which wasn't very short unless you took off the attachment. But when the guard was taken off, the trimmer would sometimes pull hair or cause skin irritation. The Beard Hedger has none of those problems. Want no mess? Use it in the shower. Want a very short trim? Take off the guard and use it -- no pain, no skin irritation. Holding this trimmer right out of the box gave me an immediate feeling that the quality of this trimmer was top of the line. Not sure if I can put that into understandable words, but once you hold it, you'll understand what I mean. As I said, I've been using this trimmer for about a week. I fully charged it when I received it -- which was super quick -- and I have yet to require a recharge after using it daily. That said, I don't have to run it for more than a few minutes each day. It cuts every hair in one pass. Maybe it costs a little more than the common beard trimmer and even the name-brand ones, but I am extremely pleased with it and happy with the decision to spend the extra -- I feel very confident that I received exactly what I paid for -- well worth it.

Instead of swapping out a bunch of guards, you just turn the dial to choose from 20 different lengths (from short stubble to a fuller beard). That alone makes trimming faster and less annoying. Performance-wise, it does a really solid job. The blade cuts evenly and doesn’t tug, even on thicker hair. It’s designed to lift flat hairs as you trim, which actually helps you get a more consistent cut in fewer passes. I’ve noticed I can usually get a clean, even result pretty quickly without going over the same area multiple times. The build quality feels premium. Works great and has multiple length settings for whatever style you are after. I recommend the longest setting for after trying all lengths. Very light, quiet, and durable so far. Hood grip and design. Has all metal blades which I like so far. If you aren’t using the guard and aren’t being cautious the blade will definitely cut you. I have yet to feel any hairs pulled or feel any pain from this. Very handy!

Replaced my old trimmer with this on and absolutely love it. Cuts clean and quick compared to what I was using. Love ease of adjusting the cut without having to swap out guards. Also love the face that the charger port is USBC…making it convenient for travel. Only gripe is that it’s not a good no guard trimmer so I still need the old trimmer to do that

Trims well...no issues there. But, the motor is not good. Won't hold a charge and it runs at random speeds. One second it's at full power and the next it's barely chugging along. I mean, it works, but you could tell the motor was wearing down within months after I bought it. Now, it barely runs. I need to buy a new one, but reluctant to replace it with this same brand. It's too bad, because otherwise I really like it.

Got the manscaped beard hedger on cyber Monday at a discounted rate. I’ve had just about every other brand of shaver and this one seems to be the best from my initial experience. I purchased this one originally because of the length dial rather than the half dozen attachments that come with other brands that you always end up losing anyways. That alone is a major advantage to me. The shave I was able to accomplish with this was 10/10. Secondly I love the fact that it comes with a type c charging cable ( most common cable nowadays ). That is just another selling feature to me knowing that I’ll most likely never not have a charging cable as they’re so readily available and most my other products use the same. Lastly I love the fact it comes with the sleek carry case. Easily can be thrown into a suit case without worry of it being squished like cheaper models. Overall very impressed, even though it isn’t the cheapest shaver I do believe it’s worth it.

I have purchased the Lawnmower 3, the ear and nose hair clipper, and now this product, and it is their best yet. Like most people, I was using the Lawnmower for everywhere (after a proper cleaning), and while it works well for its intended purpose, I found that it was mediocre for maintaining my facial hair. This product has a multitude of settings, and I was completely pleased after the first use. The short cropped beard I maintain was evenly cut, no stray hairs, it has a great shape, and performed even better than I imagined. Manscaped also has impeccable customer service; there has been multiple occasions during which they sent me something free of charge-- like when the comb on my Lawnmower 3 broke. Which brings me to the one complaint I have; this is priced like a premium product, and it is in every regard, except for the comb that comes with their products-- that plastic removable spikey thing. It is always made of a cheap, easily damaged plastic, and there's just no excuse for such a corner to be cut. Because when that comb brakes, as insignificant as it seems, your product becomes useless until it's replaced.
