So to start off. Completely meets my expectations. It's bamboo and you know for the price it's pretty good. Wouldn't recommend smacking anything but good for looks and style points. I had to give 3 stars though because there was some splintering on the edge before I assembled. Nothing major but it needs to be fixed. Also would have been better if the guard was also made of bamboo but otherwise the color, weight, feel and overall asthetic is pretty good. If you like one peice and want a sword but can't afford a real steel blade definitely a good choice.

I think it is a good buy if you like anime and are in your plans to do cosplay despite not being as extremely crazy to detail as those with sharp, are quite faithful and seem to me of good quality the only thing I recommend is to be careful when assembling and see that they are straight along with the proper placement for them to fit well.

My 9 y/o purchased this with his own money and was so eager for it to arrive. We picked it bc it wasn’t plastic. Unfortunately, within just ~10 minutes of gentle play (he was gently “dueling” with a friend), this splintered along the blade. He was really bummed but luckily the return process was smooth. I suppose it might be fine if it’s just for looking at, but that’s not really a kid’s style!

Really nice the day of a anime event I'm assembling these swords realizing that one of the swords is missing the square cover by the handle. Really disappointed considering I paid $70 for these swords and one is incomplete

Well let’s all agree this sword is useless after getting the sword the handle was broken and destroyed but after assembling it is when the flaw came out the entire sword was hanging by a thread the item was bland and destroyed not like it showed in the picture
