Fairly easy to instal if your reasonably handy.Complete repair took me about twenty minutes including dis and reassembly and re-installation if the machine in the laundry room cubby. This fixed our LG washing machine which kept showing LE error! The installation was quick and easy.

I have an LG front loaded wash machine. It started making a grinding noise. I took it apart and the bearings, spider, and seal looked good. I was scratching my head at what it could be. I figured it could either be the speed sensor or that the metal prongs on the spider shaft or the on the motor could be worn down and slipping. I opted to purchase this speed sensor. It didn't quite fit my unit (even though it said it did) at the clips, but I easily remedied this by using a drill bit to sand down the clip hole. Once I did this it clipped right in and fixed my problem. I guess there is some sort of braking mechanism in these wash machines and if they are getting faulty speed readings they can produce the grinding noise I heard. Awesome product!

My LG front load washer was displaying LE error code. Tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. I read online that it could be a failing hall sensor and this did the trick! Very happy with this product. It was pretty easy to install as long as you have all the right tools to get the the part of the washer.
