Playmobil4418 Recycling Truck

We bought the Playmobil Recycling Truck for our three year old son (turns 4 next month). He absolutely loves it! Despite it being named a recycle truck, my son calls it his "rubbish truck". It is a very durable truck which comes with two small wheelie bins (green & blue) and a larger wheelie bin (yellow). I thought my son may have difficulty clipping the wheelie bins onto the back of the truck to tip the "recycling/rubbish" into the back of the truck but he didn't. There is also an access hatch on the top of the truck to get inside. The back door of truck can be completely removed. The roof of the cab can be easily removed to access the people.My son has had hours of fun with this toy. I love hearing the rubbish scenarios he comes up with - a great imaginative toy. I would highly recommend this toy to anyone with little ones who are interested in trucks, construction or city vehicles.

An excellent toy and very well made.

My son loves this truck. It was his Christmas present and he plays with it constantly. I am delighted that he learned the concept of recycling and now able to separate different rubbish into different bins in real life. Although it is well made overall, there are certainly some rooms for improvements: (1)The rubber of the rubber wheels come off easily which left the wheel frames scratching the floor; (2) The lifting/ tipping bar comes off all the time and is tricky to put back together even for a grown up; (3) The bins are difficult to attach to the truck as it required precision play beyond a 4 years old's capability.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. Had to put all the stickers on first and the bins were difficult to attach to the truck. Far too expensive for this item!!

We bought this for our two-year-old's birthday. He loves it. He drives it round the house, makes the bins go up and down and up and down and up and down and likes the bin men's hands to be attached to the bins so they can be pulled across the floor. He also takes the container part off and uses the base as a car transporter (it's easy to clip on and off) - two toys for the price of one!One piece of advice. A multitude of stickers need to be attached and a few pieces fitted on arrival - easier to do when you don't have a two-year-old hanging round you ankles so be prepared.

Schon ein stolzer Preis, aber mein dreijähriger Sohn hat sich ein Müllauto gewünscht und hier kann er wirklich viel machen, Klappen öffnen usw. Er spielt viel und gern damit, daher hat es sich gelohnt.

Our two-year-old son is obsessed with recycling bins, garbage cans, and of course the trucks that deal with them, so this seemed a no-brainer of a toy to order him. Worked like a charm. He has loved it from the very beginning, and plays with it daily for hours.The lids do snap off the little bins many times a day in his hands, but they can be snapped back on and so far haven't broken permanently. Same goes for the components of the truck that can be pulled off. Our son can't fix these things himself, but we're able to snap them back together for him pretty easily.The truck rolls quite well and has lots of moving parts, and you can stuff the interior and the cute little bins with fake garbage/recycling of your own, so it's a lot of fun for a kid who loves this kind of thing. Great toy.
