The only portable amp you need
Omg, this exceptional device is the absolute mutts danglies for the traveller! High quality BT speaker, guitar Amp and… it stands in as a freakin’ TV soundbar because there’s no latency issues. I love this device.I regularly travel by motorbike from the W.Midlands to S.Wales, where I have two holiday colleges. I have a 36l top box and a 30l rucksack. I take my Ministar ‘LesStar’ travel Guitar across my back. The storage is taken up with a mobile office setup, bike toolset, and my travel wardrobe. Minimizing weight and maximising comfort and functionality is almost an art form.Until buying this, I used a very cheap, and naff, 9v battery Marshall travel amp. Seriously. I expected better from Marshall engineers. It turns out that so did some of them. So, they left and formed a company called ‘Blackstar’!The size of the amp is incredible. I can put it into the head of my rucksack - the only space I have left.To play guitar (only for personal fun), I used a headset and the Blackstar Amplug which was fine until I felt I wanted a bt speaker for music and an amp for the guitar. That is when I found the Blackstar Fly Charge with usb-c. I got this one to minimise charging and power issues.I was immediately blown away by the rich tone when connected to my phone and listening to pod casts and Spotify. So, bt speaker needs met. Now for the amp.Wow. The guitar sound is wonderful and full. All controls and effects really have a great effect on the sound if only it had a reverb too…oh, it does! Yes, there is reverb if you know how to find this secret feature. Turn the delay time switch to 0 and the delay level to full. Ta-dah, you are welcome. Ok, it’s not massive, and you can’t have delay and reverb together but you just got a fantastic usb-c rechargeable amp / bt speaker for only £120 so I feel that I have got a fantastic solution to everything I needed. The change is huge too. I’ve had it on all day listening to the economist and jamming every 2-3 hrs for 30mins or so. Then full on jam sessions throughout the evening. I also use Ultimate Tab to jam to and this setup is just brilliant. Which highlights the BT connection quality. I have always used a bt transceiver with the amplug and there is a delay from source and playback (latency). This latency issue does not seem to be detectable in the Blackstar amp suggesting a very high quality bt unit inside.I’ve had to update my review as I thought I’d test the connection to my non-smart tv - after plugging in my BT transceiver into the 3.5mm socket. Whilst the tv is big, it’s also old and was cheap even when new. Omg. I was expecting a massive sync issue between speech and sound but no, perfect sync. No latency issues what so ever. Great for watching streamed blockbustersAll in all - a fantastic, lovely amp that fits into my lifestyle perfectly.Hope this helps anyone else

Brilliant little amp
Good sound quality; can use bluetooth and amp at the same time so can be used to play along with recorded music. The battery lasts absolutely ages between charges. Well built and designed. Really impressed.

Great little amp
It is small and easy to use with a great sound for what it is. Bluetooth is a nice extra.

Sounds great for such a little thing!
I bought this as a practice/busking amp to use with my harmonica. Couldn’t be happier. Sounds great for such a compact size, easy to move around as wireless, it’s good value for your money and love the fact that I can jam along with a backing track via Bluetooth . Would definitely recommend!!

Tiny but great little thing
I was surprised just how small this is, but it's perfect for when you want to quickly plug in and play for a few minutes. And because it's cordless it's perfect for when you want to play somewhere that isn't your usual practice space without the hassle of batteries. The sound is as good as it could be from a small speaker but it's fine for what it is. The ISF and delay features are fun to play around with, i quite like a bit of slap-back echo and it was easy to dial in.

Love it
Tiny thing with much more output than I expected. I hardly use my 15W Amps at home anymore.

Not for me
I bought this because I wanted a small practice amp to plug and noodle around at low bedroom volumes. After seeing Ola's review, I expected it to 'chug' to play metal at low volumes and it didn't meet my expectations although I tried this with hot EMGs.
