⚡ Power up your network, no outlets needed!
The UCTRONICS Gigabit PoE Splitter delivers 5V 3A power and gigabit Ethernet over a single cable, converting PoE to USB-C or Micro USB. Fully IEEE 802.3af/at compliant, it supports Raspberry Pi 3/4, IP cameras, and smart devices with built-in safety protections and effortless plug-and-play setup.

I don't notice this thing, which means it runs excellent!
Runs just fine powering my Home Assistant Yellow box. Connected it to my Zyxel PoE switch, HA box powered up and runs just fine. One of those things you don't notice it's there when it's going its job. Would happily buy again if I need something USB powered that doesn't take PoE.

Delivers Required Current for a RPi 4
Most POE splitters deliver 2.4 Amps or less which is under spec for a RPi 4. This lists the 3 Amps that a RPi 4 requires. I use this to power a RPi 4 running Home Assistant. I prefer a splitter over a POE hat bacause hats have fans which always make some noise. With this splitter I can use a FLIRC case which cools really well without a fan.

Works great, could do with direct USB-C
I know, if you have a microUSB connection with a USB-C adapter, you meet the needs of people that use both instead of just one. But when you put the USB-C adapter on, you end up with an inflexible length of about 1.5" to 2" sticking straight out. I'm using this adapter to power a Raspberry Pi 4 over PoE, and since the USB-C power connection is on the side and the ethernet port is on the front, it makes for very awkward positioning. If the power adapter didn't stick out so far it might not have been so bad.Otherwise though, it's operating beautifully. I'm considering buying a couple more for my other RPi's.

Good POE for 5V supply
Reasonable price for a POE that supplies 5v for remote devices. I used to power a Raspberry Pi3B. So far seems stable. Recommend 👍👍

Does present more power
I got these because the other PoE Converters were limited to only 2.4 amps and I needed more for my Raspberry Pi 3+ with cameras attached. (I kept seeing a 'lightning bolt' in the upper right corner of the screen.) Once I switched to these, no more warnings! So far, so good.

Stupidly does not flash activity LED
The adapter has TWO LEDs like most Ethernet adapters, one (yellow) for Link, another (Green) for Activity. But guess what? They decided to only wire up the yellow one, so you can't tell if the adapter is working or not since there is no blinking Activity LED. Very, very, VERY, stupid!

What a cool device -- who ever thought they would make one of these?
There are times when you need USB power to a location, but running a full power circuit for an outlet can gets expensive, and then having the unsightly wall wart transformer plugged in looks ugly, too. I never even knew that they made something like this, but it is genius! If you already have a PoE switch (and if not, you should, because it can be used for so many devices nowadays like cameras, wifi bridges, and more), then you can easily drive a USB power supply from a straight Ethernet cable. This magic box steps down the PoE voltage to a nominal 5V for powering the USB cable, while still retaining the ability to use the network connection, as well. The dual-head USB cord even provides for either micro USB or USB C connections.I'm using this to drive my Raspberry Pi right now, but I have some other good uses. I want to add a tablet inside the wall next to my front door to run HomeAssistant, and now I can run a simple Cat6 cable to the device instead of needing an extra power cord. I've also wanted to run LED motion sensor lights on one of the closet ceilings, but it also lacks power -- so I'm likely to grab another of these to power one of the 5V LED strips, too. So many ideas....

Works straight out of the box, micro usb and usb c
This splitter does the job it is supposed to do, no special cables or configuration needed. My cisco 3560cx recognized the poe immediately and it fired up a raspberry pi 3b+ without the frustrating lightning bolt flashing on the corner of the screen. This is a micro USB connector that has an attached USB micro to USB C adapter so this is a multifunctional power supply. Switch is reporting the uplink at 15.4 watts Ieee PD class4 and I am seeing gig full duplex so the manufacturer isn't splitting off wires for the power. I am completely happy with this. The only slight complaint I have is that while the cable works it could use to be a bit longer as there isn't much flex room between the ethernet connection on the rasberry pi and the power connection but for the fact it fits and it works I cannot fault the manufacturer so I won't deduct away from the 5 star review. I will be ordering more as I now need to test this with various cheap tablets to use for wall mounted home automation screens.
