HG parquet gloss finish protective coating (p.e. polish) (product 51) 1L

I used this twice but found it so difficult, 1. To apply and 2. To bring up to a shine. Left floor in blotches. So disappointed.First time ever I have been disappointed with a HG product and I have used many, this being the most expensive.

I wish that I had discovered this product years ago because the whole of my down stairs has Parquet Wooden Floors so applying Varnish was a chore that we kept putting off, but now after cleaning the floor with warm water with a little Vinegar added the floor is ready to apply the Polish and once over with a squeezy mop dry in a hour what could be simpler

PE polish is the best/ easiest polish I have used. You do have to deep clean the wood before hand ( I use the hg deep clean pre polish cleaner) it then goes on quite easily. I try to do 2 coats as my floor is quite worn. It comes up nice and shiny and looks a 100 times!! better. Also it doesn’t get so dirty as polish protects the floor.

Really pleased with this purchase. Really easy to apply with a micro fibre mop, drys quickly and leaves a glossy, tough protective coating on the wood that stops liquid from damaging the floor. We have a new puppy that keeps having accidents on the parquet and this has effectively prevented any staining or smell being left on the wood. Not sure how long this will last but it will be easy enough to do apply another coat or two after six months to ensure that the floor stays looking good.

The polish seems to be very good and given time ought to be excellent. The prompt delivery and package were appreciated - thank you. John RD

Easy to apply. Leaves an even covering of shine without being slippery to walk on. Another reviewer said you can now get this cheap in Tesco, but Tesco’s is just a polish, not the same as this PE floor sealant product.Tip: Do leave it to dry for an hour before putting furniture back in place as they will stick a bit.

Easy to use. Good finish

I used this on my solid wooden floors. Very easy to apply and they look mostly wonderful. BUT I left the microfibre mop resting head down on the undone part of the floor while waiting for the other bit to dry and it has 'burnt' an indelible mark into the wood. I checked the box and there is no warning about this. Not a happy bunny.
