Solo II PV with energynote Online Services – for Solar Panel microgeneration

Purchased to enable monitoring of the PV array output. Much easier than having to watch the installed meter.The monitor provides a clear display that pairs with the transmitter quickly.Setting up with the internet bridge was quite straight forward following the unambiguous instructions provided on-line.Registration was easy and everything appears to be working well together.Can't comment yet on the accuracy as it has been cloudy since installation so the PV system has not been generating sufficiently to be measured.The data is stored in the on-line account but can, apparently, be downloaded in CSV format for entry into a spreadsheet, however, the on-line analysis should suffice for most folks.Feb 2018 update:The kit is still good, with a nice clear display and is accurate enough for most purposes.I initially awarded five stars but dropped one as I'm not overly impressed with the on-line analysis, I consider it to be too basicWhilst I can still recommend the Solo II display unit I can't say that the Energynote Online Services are very useful (to me anyway).Anyone serious about PV generation results analysis would do better to enter daily PV meter readings into their own spreadsheet and tailor their own analysis.

Easy to install and to set up. It appears to be accurate and produce the information that I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone wanting to monitor electricity generated by solar panels.

A lot better than geo Solo 1 PV . I'm able to have this one in my living room, whereas Solo 1 had a range of only about 8 metres

Keeps me informed of the system. The sticky pad has come off twice in a month but seems a bit better now. Just a little pricey for what it is.

Where do I start? It promised so much and delivered nothing. The display paired with the network bridge fine but has never connected to the energynote cloud. It got an IP from my router and pinged fine. No internal issue. Raised it with their support people and two days later, still not even an acknowledgement I exist. Poor customer service. Wast of time and money. I'll be sending it back.My network owl intuition works fine so perhaps I'll just upgrade that instead. I hate writing reviews like this but I'm sorry guys, I just can't allow such poor customer service to go unchallenged.

Seems to work really well. No dropped signals and can check away from home.

This is great as it shows you when you should use your larger machines and how much it is making. It is great to watch.
