El Faro Olive Stuffed with Anchovy 12 oz Imported from Spain Pack of 3

The olives arrived very well packed. Not too much unnecessary packing, but tightly and safely packaged. It was especially nice that the vendor added a personal note of thanks in the package. For that reason alone, I will order more products from them.The olives were great..... almost like the ones I have in Europe in Spanish restaurants. Usually canned (or jarred) olives are too soft, so I was delighted to find these have a nice crispness to them. I am very happy to have a source for good olives and am sure I will be ordering more soon as I am enjoying a few every evening.Well worth the money!

On par, taste-wise, with Goya but about a third more expensive (WalMart, $2.42/5.25oz can).Nice flavor, firm. Only 4 stars because of price.Update: Just purchased several more cans of the Goya Brand from WalMart and decided to compare them directly with the El Faro brand.Came away a little more disappointed in the price than before and changed my rating to 3 stars, more for the price than the flavor. The size and weight of the can (before opening) are identical for both brands, the number of olives were the same, and the dry weight (olives with stuffing along - no brine) was the same for both cans. The advertised weight of the El Faro is, supposedly (350g) 12oz. which must be the weight of the brine plus olives and (150g) for just the olives, or "dry weight". Knowing that now the El Faro brand costs 3 times as much as the Goya brand from WalMart. Again, flavor-wise, they both seem to be about the same.

So hard to find anchovy stuffed olives these days but you don’t know what you’re missing and these are some of the best .
