Good for learn read/write Kanji
That book is a very good help introducing you to writing and reading Kanji which is very often used.

Nicely organized, well thought-out
Excellent book. The organization of Kanji into coherent functional and semantic groups is well thought out. Tactile-kinesthetic learners will find that writing Kanji is a fun learning experience and it works. Lots of pictures to help visual learners. Audio files online for auditory learners too.

Helpful with various reinforcing
I loved the ability to look up different social interactions, pictures, and writings to accompany them. Often, one can pick up a "word or sentence structure" in one area and transpose it to another area with a little adjustment. Being new to the language this helps a lot.

Using it for JLPT N5 study
I like how this kanji book helps with JLPT N5 study. It has all the kanji you need to know. It teaches you to write the Kanji and there is activities at the end of every chapter to help with learning the use of the kanji.

Efficient
I studied Japanese many years ago in college but over the years I forgot much of what I learned and I had not learned a lot of Kanji in the first place. This book offers step by step stroke order and pictures that can be traced to train the hand and mind. This is a very effective way to learn the basic Japanese Kanji (Chines characters). I highly recommend this book.

Easy and Fun!-- (and it works)
Japanese Kanji Made Easy; is exactly as the title states. I am 80 years old, have a Japanese wife of 55 years, lived and worked in various parts of Japan for more than ten years. Even with all these aids to learning Japanese, I still only had a marginal level of fluency! My ability to write ANY Japanese was nil. Over the years I have tried many Japanese courses, but to no avail. It just didn't stick. But then came "Japanese Kanji Made Easy". I found that the book was different than other workbooks. Clear explanations with pictures to help remember each character, excellent review and practice quizzes with audio to help on pronunciation, all in all a very balanced approach to learning. At last, it is starting to stick, while having fun! Art V.

Clear explanations with pictures!
Look, even us adults can benefit from photos that go along with what we're learning. It helps build memory retention and has us coming back! I'm glad after some searching I stumbled upon LingoMastery. They also provide really good exercises too. I definitely recommend them!

Das Buch ist super!
Ich habe mir dieses Lernheft gekauft, da ich bald den N5 schreibe und keine Ahnung hatte wie ich am besten Kanjis lernen soll. Das Buch ist eine perfekte Abwechslung aus reinem schreiben üben und Übungen zum schreiben, lesen und verstehen. Es gibt auch Hörübungen darin, die einen auf den N5 auch etwas vorbereiten was das Hörverstehen angeht. Bin einfach begeistert :) werde mir aus der Reihe auch noch weitere Bücher zulegen

Amazing kanji resource
Great kanji learning resource if you like to use mnemonics! Great to pair with other Japanese learning material and probably not best used on its own as it’s only for the first few kanji.
