I HAVE PUT THIS LITTLE GIZMO THROUGH SO MUCH TORTURE. IT'S ACTUALLY BENT A LITTLE FROM HAVING BEEN IN MY BACK POCKET. BUT IT'S LIKE THEY USED TO ADVERTISE WATCHES WITH, IT TAKES A LICKING AND KEEPS ON TICKING. IT HAS NEVER ONCE STEERED ME WRONG IN THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE IN THE SOIL. I DEPEND ON IT BECAUSE I HAPPEN TO BE A PERSON WHO OVERWATERS, CAUSING PLANTS TO DIE YOUNG. WITH THIS LITTLE GARDEN TOY ON BOARD YOUR PLANTS WILL FLOURISH AND GAIN NEW HEIGHTS THE GAUGE IS SIMPLE, IT JUST TELLS YOU RELIABLY WHETHER OR NOT THERE'S MOISTURE IN THE SOIL. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. JUST DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR BACK POCKET AND SIT ON IT!

My wife wanted one of these to use so that she doesn't over-water a new bush we planted in the yard. Works great, and has slowed down the watering schedule, preventing damage to the bush and a waste of water, which is precious here in Arizona. Glad we got it.

I've had this now for 6 months and it continues to work flawlessly in determining moisture content in our plants and pots. Just make sure to wipe off excess dirt and moisture after each usage to preserve the metal tip from rusting and malfunctioning. A useful tool and a good value for the money.

Works well until it doesn't. Very fragile internal wires to the meter. Handle gently and it may last more than a half season. Value is questionable. I'll buy again because they are relatively inexpensive and reasonably accurate. Handle them with some care.

This moisture meter is so easy to use and read. I use this for my plants in pots and outdoors in the ground. It’s longer, makes it easy to use and you do not have to bend over too much or get lower to the ground to read it. Just always wipe the tip when done and keep it clean. I rely on the readings. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the top when inserting into the ground. Good value for the money, no battery required. Meter is easy to read!

Probe tip came out the third time I wiped the shaft clean. Ripped out the wires, and unrepairable. The probe end was just tension fit in the metal shaft tube. No glue or anything.

love the length on this i use it out side for my big pots so they dont get overwatered
