Amazing
I bought this desk/table easel, about a week ago. I've used it, for about 3-4 hours, at the time of this review, and I must say, that I'm VERY impressed with it! I think, that I bought it for around £21 (I'm not sure, but I seems to remember, it was around that pricetag)Pros:+ It's VERY handy for use, on the go, since the frame is so big and solid+ The locking mechanism sinde of the frame; which holds the angle, of the board in place, is quite solid, if you tighten it enough - The canvas doesn't move at all, when I've tryed to get it to close.+ It's very durable+ it's made from; quite high-end materials (Beechwood), considering the price+ Quite heavy weight.+ surprisingly blg storage space, within the frame.+ Nice big, adjustable canvas board+ Adjustable height and working angle - With sliding "arm" on top, that slides down into the frame.+ A VERY nice handle on top, which seems, to be real leather (Or at least insanely high quality pleather/fake leather)Cons:- It's quite annoying to assemble it, for the first time, when you first get it - The long middle-sticks, doesn't seem to have an obvious placement (One has to go in the inner "notch", and the other, has to go in the out "notch - Which didn't seem logical to me, a least.- I'm bound to a wheelchair, so makes it a bit difficult, to hold/handle it, and accelerate/move, at the same time.- For what I`m using it for; it can be bit difficult, to reach the top, of the paper, due to the fact, that the canvas-board, is so high; without having to straighten your back - And for one, that's missing about 10-20% of the back muscles, it can be very, strenuous to do, for more then a few seconds at a time.- * The fact, that the adjustable canvas "holder/arm", is so thick, from the board, to the edge of the holder, makes it VERY annoying, to use, with just a single piece of paper, or a thin book; I'vd VERY much have liked, there to be, somekind of clamping system, to accomidate that issue, so the paper doesn't slide around (The book isn't a problem, since it's hardback)- IF I HAVE TO, get down to the nitty gritty stuff; I'vd say, that the closing/locking claps, insanely loud; but maybe it's just because, they are still, quite new and used, a small amount of times.Final verdict:* VERY high bank for the buck!! - Downright allmost a steal.* It's; BY FAR, the best, and surprisingly the cheapest; desk easel, I've looked at (and I've looked, at quite a few, in the couple of weeks!).* If you're on the market, for a desk easel, I would HIGH recommend this one!

Excellent table easel
I needed a table top easel for my art class, and had looked at this particular style for the storage element of it, as I already carry a portfolio, so the less I need to lug about the better. This arrived and required small bit of assembly to attached canvas rest on outside of box, simple to do with a couple of wingnuts, and also turn the adjustable support around. There weren't any instructions included but it was fairly evident what should be done. The dividers inside can be moved around. 2 longer and 2 shorter dividers, although if you put the 2 longer strips furthest apart, the shorter strips would not fir, so I guess it is up to yourself what you would be needing to take with you. For me it is ample storage for several brushes, watercolour palette, some acrylics, rags, etc. The easel itself is adjustable, again with wingnuts on a slider, so you can find the angle most comfortable for working, and it feels secure and solid. There is enough weight to it, without being unmanageable, so doesn't slip across the table. All in all I am delighted with my purchase, and it fits my needs perfectly.

Great space saver and sturdy
Bought for granddaughter and she loves it - plenty of room for all her paints, brushes, etc. Easy to set up and she can take it in and out if the house when the weather allows. Great way to keep things tidy.

Storage box for artist
The box is well made with reasonable handle and catches. On opening the box you find a lot of bit and pieces of wood which you need to fit yourself. The dividers inside box could have done with being the full depth of box and a means of keeping all your brushes, paints etc, from being bashed about when the box is moved around would be useful.

Well made, and going to be a useful piece of kit.
The easel, is easy to set up, no tools needed. The beech wood box is well constructed with finger joints. The internal compartments are slightly changeable in the fact you can alter the sizes from one setting to another. I am still working out how to use it and what to store in the box for when I use it. For me using an easel is slightly strange as I have always worked on flat surfaces, so I am having to adjust how to draw/paint on a sloping surface. Having painted/sketched at school, and nearly 50 years on started doing art again I am on a big learning curve anyway, so using an easel in just another. Its going to be handy to take to my art class, and will carry either water colours or acrilic paints inside, depending on what I think i will be doing. All in all very pleased with the purchase.

So compact and easy to use
I absolutely love my new easel, so compact and easy to store and get back out, with space to put all your essential arty bits and pieces. Fits perfectly on bureau when out and stores nicely away, when not in use. Great value
