It will take time to see if they provide all of the light necessary for plant growth, but I do like that there is an option for just vegetative growth or for leaves and flowers. It also came with a mounting system so that is one less problem to work out.This package was a set of two lamps, but they are totally independent. It would be nice if there was an outgoing plug on at least one of them so that they could be connected in series rather than using two plugs.

Well constructed, like the Veg and Bloom switches.

I thought they were going to be better quality. light plastic seems to get hot. no cooling fan or air slots. Other units I have bought recently for $10 more had metal fixtures with cooling fans and seems way brighter than these are.

The media could not be loaded.  It short be noted that the title says 1000w lights but I’m pretty sure that is a misprint because these are clearly closer to the 100w range. Lights come with hanging hardware and each light features 2 switches. The switches are for the vegetative cycle (mostly blue spectrum) and bloom (mostly red) respectively. You can also flip on both switches and run both simultaneously for a brighter, fuller spectrum. The LED’s are great for lower power consumption and lower heat output which is particularly useful if you are using an indoor tent setup. I unfortunately do not own a par meter so I am unable to test the accuracy and claims of the umols output but I’d guess they are fairly accurate and strong enough to grow basic indoor plants. Im personally using them as supplemental side lighting in my tent to fill in the red and blue spectrum for my cannabis grow. This works out well for me helping me keep my temps manageable as my main light does throw out significantly more heat.
