Fine tea
I wanted to try Japanese Gyokuro tea as somebody who is a tea-taster for a well known tea and coffee company told me that it is the finest green tea in the world. Mind you, he has tasted a batch that was reserved for the Emperor of Japan … anyway, I love the batch provided to me via Amazon! It needs to be infused with cooler water than I used for other green teas (as per the instructions) and this brings out the delicate flavour nicely. It also means the tea can be drunk more or less as soon as it has finished infusing. A definite thumbs up from me.

Beautiful, smooth green tea
Amazing tea, you can taste how high quality it is. Expensive for the size of the bag which is the only thing that would put me off re-ordering in a hurry. I ordered 100g and this was still small- would only last 2-3 of weeks if you have a pot a day I think.

A bit too expensive
It was not bitter and had a decent balance, however from a great gyokuro I would have wished for a fuller body and more sweetness.I found it to be too expensive for what you get

Good quality gyokuro
The taste is more bitter and less seaweedy than other gyokuro. Whether that is good or bad will depend on your preferences.

Tried a few cups, it turns the water murky and slightly opaque, never seen this with tea at this price. I'm too worried to drink it.When they've found out I was unhappy, I got a speedy refund, so happy with the supplier.
