OXO Good Grips Fridge Egg Holder with Removable Tray and Lid

I've had a number of egg holders over the years. I also don't write many reviews. However, I thought I would give this a whirl. This is the best egg container I've owned. Thoughtfully designed, sturdy and easy to clean. On top of it all, it looks great in the fridge.

I wasn’t exactly sure how much I would like moving toward a more “organized” fridge, but after setting up this egg container, I’m sold! The difference between this and a store carton is immediate—the clean lines and modular design make the whole fridge look intentional. There are other brands that offer similar options, but I went with OXO for the modern look, the white handle that makes push/pull easy, and the lid that lets me stack items on top without worrying about damage. The removable tray is simple to clean, and the overall build has that sturdy OXO feel. My problem with boiled eggs was their odor in the refrigerator, but not anymore! This egg storage container with lid has been the perfect solution. Minimally sized, it holds 20 eggs which for 3 boiled eggs per workday x5, nicely caters to my weekly food-prep. Clear plastic transparent construction eliminates any mystery of what’s inside. Sturdy, stackable and with a clean look, it’s got a great design not needing improvement that I can think of. An easy 5 stars!

Good to have a crush proof container for eggs in my fridge and one that I can wash as well. Cardboard ones you get are ok but not reusable since you can't wash them. This holds more than a dozen which is a plus. I like the top lid (good for stacking) and size works well for all size eggs. Recomended.

We live on a sailboat so our fridge is not like what people have in their homes. Stuff gets removed and replaced a lot and eggs are an issue - the more you move them the more the risk of breaking them. I wound up using strong rubber bands (elastics) at each end to keep the lid on, and covering the eggs with a tea towel to keep them in place. Thus modified, I can be a bit less paranoid about moving the box a dozen times a day. Having said that, OXO always uses good sturdy plastic and I think I'd have to try hard to break this box. I had a very old fridge egg holder. This one beats that one by a mile. First it has a cover. My loaf of bread fits on there perfectly. Second the inside section where the eggs sit is removable and washable. If an egg breaks, it is easy to clean. It holds more than 18 eggs so when you have a few left over and you are adding a carton of eggs it works out great. I love it. I may seem like a simple thing but it works so efficiently for my fridge and family. Great design.

Cannot go wrong with OXO products. This egg storage is well made, has a removable inner egg tray which is nice in case an egg breaks, it's easy to clean. The only downside, is that the tray holds 20 eggs. I've only seen eggs come in dozen or 18 egg cartons or flats which are usually 30 eggs. Not a big problem to deal with, as eggs don't last long in our household. Like buying hot dogs and hot dog buns. Not equal. All in all, I'm real happy and wonder what took me so long to buy these. A little pricey but worth it.

Oxo is always my kitchen gadget go-to. This egg holder tray is solid, made with good quality, and looks pretty. Fits various sized eggs (currently have pasture eggs in there). Highly recommend!

Hace tiempo compré unos contenedores de huevos pero los huevos se humedecían, probablemente porque el contenedor era hermético, lo cual me parece muy práctico porque puedes mover los contenedores de un lado a otro de la nevera y no se caen los huevos pero el tema de la humedad es muy importante y por lo tanto no me sirvieron. Compré este contenedor con cierto temor por la cuestión de la humedad pero como no cierra herméticamente sino sólo se asienta la tapa pues no tiene ese problema. No me molesta que no pueda estar moviendo el contenedor sin el riesgo de que se caigan los huevos ya que el contenedor tiene su propio espacio dentro de la nevera. Le caben 20 huevos y se pueden asentar otras cosas sobre la tapa sin ningún problema.
