I ordered this reel as a back up, the line that comes pre spooled isn't worth much and was removed quickly! I have since replaced it with better and slightly thinner mono, casting action is fine but the retrieve is where you see you get what yo pay for!

Great little first time fishing reel.
These little reels are good for a first time reel, I bought these for my Great grand sons.

Doesn't work.
Nice looking, fully functional. That is until you put any kind of load on it when it just jambs up. I am guessing at this price point the gearing inside is plastic, and gums up. Will return if I can be bothered.
