Does exactly what is needed
When you live in a new house and have been forced to have a 'Bat house entry' in the garage roof, what you get instead are frequent mice. These handy devices sort the problem out. No sign of bats though?!

They don’t work! Waste of time and money.
We have a mouse problem and our existing housed traditional traps we’re doing great catching mice (We have caught over 20 mice over last 5 years living in central London). However, it wasn’t always nice emptying the traps, so when we saw these it seemed like a good solution. After baiting the traps, following the instructions we placed them in the same locals as our olds traps. Bait was the same, the irresistible peanut butter. One week on we have seen mice in the house but neither trap has caught any, however both traps were tripped twice each. No mice inside and now they won’t reset. Nice idea, but they just don’t work and we’re a waste of money.

Very good as a mouse trap, but nearly half of the ones I have bought have failed mechanically.
When it works it works well. I have had 6 of these. Four worked effectively, though the claims to seal may not be 100% - one left the mouse's tail sticking out under the trap door so preventing a good seal. One failed to trip and allowed a mouse to enter, eat the bait and escape. Another would not arm at all. This failure rate makes them an even more expensive mouse solution.

Mouse trap
Brought this yesterday, used only 1 trap as I noticed we had a little visitor, literally after placing it on the floor in kitchen, I shut the door, literally less than 5 minutes the mouse was trapped, I discarded the Trapp like it says too, an placed the other one just incase. Easy to use, will buy again if needed.

The perfect trap if you are squeamish
If you are squeamish, this is THE mousetrap for you. Easy to bait - just twist the plug on top, add a tiny bit of peanut butter or choc spread and screw it back. Press the red lever down firmly and place the trap where you've seen the mice or their droppings. Mice are attracted to the bait, go through the small door and when they eat the bait, the mouse trap is inside is triggered. The red flag goes up and the little door falls shut. Just double bag the whole trap and throw it away. No mess, no fuss and no need to see any squashed mice or wonder when and where the dead mice will turn up.There's two traps per box. We caught two after setting the traps the night before. The reason I don't give full 5 stars is I have bought these traps earlier from a high street provider- one of them didn't work (i.e. the trigger is probably broken or not sensitive enough). If that happens, please ask for a refund. These are not cheap traps!

Rentokil FM49 Seal and Kill mouse trap
Simple to use, hygienic although the instructions suggest peanut butter or chocolate spread the mice at the mother-I laws prefer ginger nuts. Used in conjunction with an ultrasonic repeller and seems to have done the job. Price on-line varies a lot so shop around, worth getting the twin pack. Mouse problem was in a difficult to access loft space, mouse ingress at the start of the cold weather in Autumn.

Useless! Didn’t do the job it’s designed to do
Lever to keep door open doesn’t lock in to position and so whole device is of no value as it’s not able to actually trap the mouse! Poor value for money. Not easy to use.

I bought these as a humane method of getting rid ...
I bought these as a humane method of getting rid of mice however have never seen them work. I know that mice have still been roaming and I have actually ended up buying the snap traps which caught 3 mice. These traps have not worked for me at all.
