Great for experts and beginners
Since I was a child, I collected coins as a hobby and always fell in love with them, even to see the change of an old coin to the present day. So I wanted to start collecting as a hobby but I didn't know how to start, what I had to do, so I saw this book, bought it and immediately it was clear and detailed about what I had to do. Inside the book we find out everything there is to know about getting started in coin collecting, the easiest ways to know which coins are worth collecting, and much more!

Black and white photos!Very basic book, should be called a beginners guide rather than bible. Also, this is mainly US based, not UK.Also, page 69, chapter 4, tips and mistakes to avoid when buying and selling coins. THIS WHOLE PAGE IS ABOUT CRYPTO not coins.I almost returned this book, £12 is way too expensive, but, it did have some little bits of info that were helpful, so, decided to keep it.

It's aimed at the american collector.
It's aimed at the american collector. It goes on about dollars etc., nothing on English coins at all. There was some handy info (not a lot), but overall a waste of my money. Really dissapointed, if I had known it was aimed at the american audience I would never have purchased it. I live in England and collect English coins.
